Corrected entry: When the "kidnapped" inspector and Frank are at the marina, Frank's boat's name is Cassis. In the next scene its name is Manon.
Corrected entry: Tarconi says there were 5000 spent shell casings around Frank's house. But we only see three guys, which are probably all of them, seeing how all of the bullets are coming from the same direction. All three of them use weapons with standard 30-round magazines, and are only seen reloading once. Even if you give the film a lot of wiggle room and say they actually reloaded 10 times, that's still not enough. They would need to have reloaded over 50 times - not to mention they would stand there firing guns for over ten minutes.Friso94
Corrected entry: In the scene where the transporter gets the girl out of his car to deliver her to wall street, you can see that the girl has gotten out of the bag and is hiding in the trunk (as the bag comes out, you can see that she is in the trunk still. She sort of curls up to hide from view). The car is later blown up, and the girl is magically back in the house as if she had never escaped from the bag in the first place.
Corrected entry: When Martin launches his car onto a car transport truck a wheel comes off his car, only to be back in perfect condition shortly afterward.
Corrected entry: After Frank has escaped from the jail with the inspector, he gets on the boat. While in the jail (and even before that) Frank has been wearing a blue shirt with khaki pants. Once on the boat, we see Frank change his shirt, but he does not change his pants which are now black instead of khaki.
Corrected entry: In the first chase scene, just before Frank launches the BMW off of the narrow bridge, there's a shot of his feet at the pedals showing him mashing the gas pedal while we hear the engine revving and tires squealing. Shouldn't he have had the gas to the floorboard already? How have the tires been spinning up until then?
Corrected entry: The bad guys trap Frank by dropping oil onto the water he is under and lighting it on fire by shooting it. Just moments earlier, before he jumped into the water, they were shooting at him and hitting the oil on the solid concrete ground around him. Yet it didn't catch on fire then, so it makes no sense that it would catch on fire on the water.
Corrected entry: Was there ever any satisfactory explanation given as to why Lai was in the bag in the first place? Certainly it got Frank Martin mixed up in the plot - but when she was reunited with her father, he was pleased to see her (far more than vice versa) and he wasn't angry that she'd apparently been sold to Wall Street. If it was his intent that she be sold like that, he would simply have handed her back over to him; if not, what was his motivation? I have trouble understanding this.
Corrected entry: When Frank is paragliding after the convoy (and overhauling it rapidly) there is a realism conflict. The posted speed limit over most of Europe is at least 110 km/h. To drive too much below that is illegal. However, the top speed of a paraglider is 60-65 km/h, and the stall speed is about 20 km/h. And yet there was no speed difference between him and the truck when he landed (stalling the paraglider to do so). He should not have been able to catch up to the convoy so quickly, and should certainly not have been able to land with so little problem.
Corrected entry: In the scene where Frank is in the shop, he takes a bottle of juice to give to Lai who is still in the trunk but he walks out of the shop without paying for it or for the food he ate.
Corrected entry: When Lai shoots her father at the end, we see the blood pump through his shirt, yet there is no bullet hole in the shirt. For this to happen, the bullet would have had to gone through his chest and been stopped by the shirt.
Corrected entry: In the scene where the transporter opens the bag in the trunk to give the girl some juice, he cuts a small slit on the tape covering her mouth, throughout parts of the film when the girl has her mouth taped the slit appears and disappears.
Corrected entry: In the scene where the transporter and the girl are attacked at the beach house they both fall into a cistern. In the next scene we see both characters utilizing scuba gears (conveniently hidden underwater) complete with fins. A few minutes later after they had reached the ground, the girl is wearing her shoes again. How did she manage to hold onto them?
Corrected entry: In the scene where Lai downloads Wall Street's information off the policeman's computer, the very last button she hits on the keyboard says "sleep". Later on, the policeman hits the button "wake up". However, if the film is set in France, why are the commands on the keyboard written in English?
Corrected entry: In the scene where Frank is fighting the bad guys in the mechanic room he ends up jumping through the window with a guy he uses to shield himself from the enemy fire. He lands in the water and the bad guys throw a barrel of oil and shoot it causing a fire on the surface of the water. As Frank is submerged under water he grabs the guy he went into the water with and takes a breath of air in his mouth. If the guy was under water and already dead, how would there still be oxygen left inside him? How would someone's mouth be completely closed when they die, and wouldn't water go through the dead guy's nose anyway?
Corrected entry: During the last transporting scene the semi/eighteen-wheeler with the immigrants inside is shown vigorously swerving from side to side. Shortly thereafter, they open the crate and see that the immigrants are all okay and not injured. Wouldn't, logically, at least some of these people be knocked down and hurt, since they would have been tossed around in the steel cart?
Corrected entry: After Frank returns to the bad guy's house after his BMW blows up, he steals a Mercedes from the garage. He drives through the garage doors, and then through the compound gate without opening either one. As he goes through the compound gate, you see that the grill on the Mercedes is fine, but in the next shot on the road, the grill is hanging down on one side. What caused this?
Corrected entry: When Frank gets a flat tire on his car, he goes to the boot and takes out a non matching (to what he already has) standard BMW alloy wheel. It cuts to him actually taking the one he's just taken from the boot off the car. Next scene, after he leaves the shop with the drink for Li, his car has the non standard alloy wheel back on.
Corrected entry: Shortly after the bad guys blow up Frank Martin's house, Martin and the girl go to the Wall Street's office to confront him. Frank disarms Wall Street, taking a 1911 .45. Frank makes Wall Street sit at his desk and covers him with the gun. To emphasize a point, Martin cocks the hammer with his thumb. After some discussion, Martin hands the pistol to the girl to cover Wall Street while he searches the office. After a bit the girl gets angry and again cocks the hammer. Anyway, if Frank Martin, obviously a weapons expert, had taken a .45 auto off someone with the intention of possibly using it, he surely would have cycled back the slide to make sure there was a round in the chamber.
Corrected entry: When the containers are being taken somewhere, and the chase and fight scenes begin, there are two containers being taken to wherever they're going. However Frank only rescues one of these containers and drives it away, what about the other container?
Corrected entry: After Frank stole the truck, he just drove it off to a secluded location, then the bad guy, who was driving behind him, pulls a gun on him. If Frank was such a professional driver, wouldn't he have checked his rearview mirror sometime to see that he was being followed the whole time?
Corrected entry: After the lead bank robber shoots his fourth partner, blood is splattered on the rear window, but it isn't shattered. How could the blood come out, but the bullet stay in?
Corrected entry: In the oil fight scene after Frank takes the pedals off the bike, he throws the bike at the guys he is fighting in the oil. When Frank fights them, what happens to the bike? It disappears.
Corrected entry: After the bad guys blow up Frank's house and Frank and the girl jump into the water, flippers appear on their feet even though they didn't put any on.
Corrected entry: The crop dusting airplanes fly at such low altitudes that there is no point in having a parachute as standard equipment because there is no chance of using it in case of emergency. So where has the parachute come from?
Corrected entry: In the scene where Frank is watching the news, you can see the AV1 input display on the TV; meaning he is watching a video, NOT the news.
Corrected entry: After the part where the Transporter discovers the moving body in his car. He is seen at a rest stop eating something. He then gets an Orange Soda (or something) out of a fridge and leaves the store without paying for it.
Corrected entry: When the Transporter is cleaning up his car from the opening chase he removes a white plate from the front of the car but when he goes to his supply of plates they are all yellows that are found on the back of the car.
Corrected entry: In the scene where Frank and Lai are getting out of the water she calls him Frank. He never told her his name, so how did she know what it was?
Corrected entry: During the final chase scene the Transporter is seen breaking into the rear Mac truck in a series of two. At the end of the movie when he finally meets up with the Police, he's in a lone truck. The other Mac truck seemed to have disappeared.
