Continuity mistake: When Ryan is proving his skills with the orange Mercedes, the driver's door mirror is missing before it strikes the water valve, yet is back moments later. (00:36:25)

Continuity mistake: When Ryan is at the bus station to get the bag, he halts and looks through the large room as an older man is pushing a luggage cart away from Ryan. A conductor is walking toward the older man while the chairs closest to the black waste basket are empty. The shot changes to a close-up of Ryan for two seconds, then back to the same view, and the old guy and cart are now too far away, the conductor has vanished and two people are seated in those same chairs, one of whom is resting his legs on the relocated waste basket. (01:25:25)

Continuity mistake: As the gray Firebird and red truck charge at each other at the end of the final chase, we see from the red truck's view that the Firebird's two amber front lights are properly mounted below the bumper. But as the car turns toward the ramp, a shot from above the ramp shows the driver-side amber light is hanging loosely by its wire. (01:21:15)

Continuity mistake: At the end of the first chase, as the blue LTD charges at the two police cars, bullets are hitting the windshield of the LTD, yet neither police car has anyone's arm out the window firing a weapon. (00:13:10)

Continuity mistake: When the motorcyclist arrives and raises his face mask where the one bad guy lays dead, his point of view shows the pistol lies 'higher' in relation to the dead man's hand. But in a wider shot from the opposite angle as he begins to ride away, the pistol lies 'below' the hand. (00:53:50)

Visible crew/equipment: After taking the red pickup truck, there's a shot looking forward through the cab as Ryan drives away. You can see the tall black camera rig reflected in the cab's rear glass. (00:53:10)

Continuity mistake: When the brown Firebird flees the bank heist, two shots show the sun is high in the sky to the driver's left. The car makes two left turns to head in the opposite direction and the next exterior shot shows the sun is again on the driver's left. Just how long did those two turns take? (00:50:15)

Continuity mistake: Throughout the final chase, the gray Firebird has a 'shaker' hood scoop, which has a solid, tapered front (air gets in through the backside). But just as the car and red truck charge each other, a forward shot from inside the car shows we can see through the scoop, which is apparently broken, when it was perfect seconds before with no collisions since. (01:21:15)

Continuity mistake: When the driver disposes of the blue LTD by using a magnetic crane to drop it on a scrap heap, several mistakes are present when the car is found by police. The rear license plate and all the wheel covers are gone, a front plate mount is now on the car where none was during the chase, and the car is very near the steel frame structure when it was dropped far from it earlier. (00:15:00)

Factual error: During the early chase, a policeman fires a shotgun at the blue LTD. Each shot is supposed to hit the trunklid, as it comes loose, then flies off, yet the lid is never damaged by the bullets, as if they are passing through the lid, hitting the hinges and lock without leaving any holes or dents in the lid itself. (00:11:40)

Continuity mistake: During the first chase, interior shots looking rearward from the blue LTD show that the trunk lid hinges are sticking up and several exterior shots of the car show the trunk lid is already gone, all long before the lid is shot off. (00:09:05)

Continuity mistake: In the final chase, when the gray Firebird runs into a stockpile, and backs away from it, the wide shot shows the driver's door mirror's head is angled properly, but the tight shot immediately after, shows it is very askew, then a wide shot of the car turning right and heading away shows the mirror back in proper position. (01:18:30)

Audio problem: During the underground car park scene Glasses is heard yelling and cursing at The Driver to stop several times, yet whenever the camera is on him while speaking, his lips don't move.

Continuity mistake: The red pick-up truck is shown to have a floor-mounted shifter when the Driver first steals it. Yet during the Firebird chase he is seen operating a column shifter at one point. (00:52:45 - 01:12:50)

Continuity mistake: In the parking garage scene when the Driver halts beside the pillar he uses to rip the driver's door off, a close-up of the interior after he stops shows the column shift lever in Park. In the next shot, he opens the driver's door and then shifts up into reverse gear.

The Detective: A friend of yours told me where to find you in the middle of the day.
The Driver: I don't have any friends.
The Detective: That's right. No friends. No steady job. No girlfriend. You live real cheap, you never ask any questions... boy, you got it down real tight. So tight that there's no room for anything else. And that's a real sad song. Only trouble is, eh, sad songs ain't sellin' this year. Maybe I'm your friend.
