Plot hole: When Harrigan and Captain Pilgrim leave the head Captain's office after being told not to impede Agent Keys' investigation, Harrigan then spots Keys and goes and roughs him up, shouting and generally making a nuisance of himself. Pilgrim was only just behind him. Harrigan's actions have caused everyone else to be quiet, so it's not as if Pilgrim doesn't know that Harrigan isn't manhandling Keys, yet he does nothing to intervene, especially in light of the meeting the pair of them just left. Predator 2 (1990)
1 plot hole
Directed by: Stephen Hopkins
Starring: Bill Paxton, Danny Glover, Gary Busey, Kevin Peter Hall, Rubén Blades
Other mistake: In the slaughterhouse scene, after Harrigan has injured the Predator with his shotgun and Keyes reappears, the Predator throws its disc, and severs Keyes in half at the waist. We see his legs flop to the ground, and blood pour from above, but his upper half (torso, backpack and weaponry) mysteriously remain hovering out of sight. (01:21:50)
Sergeant: Chief Heinemann says...
Lieutenant Mike Harrigan: Well, Heinemann can kiss my sweet ass!

Trivia: Have a close look at the Predator's trophy collection on his spaceship. Taking pride of place is a skull from the creature in the Alien movies. (01:33:05)
Question: What is the significance of the flintlock pistol the Elder Predator gives Danny Glover?
Answer: It's a reference to the comic where a pirate and a predator became somewhat friendly. The gun was given to the elder predator by the pirate as a thank you gesture. The elder predator then some few hundred years later gave it to Glover as a congratulations.
The comic came out years later to give a back story to the pistol. The only significance of the pistol is to show how long the predators have been coming to Earth.

Answer: As a reward for besting the Predator in combat, he proved himself a fierce warrior worthy of praise and the gun was a token of their respect for his strength.
