Avengers: Endgame

Continuity mistake: When Thor starts fighting Thanos, Thor attempts to reach for the Gauntlet in front of him. Thanos, behind him, grabs onto Thor, prompting Thor to turn around and swing his axe at him, which Thanos then grabs. When Thor swings the axe, the Gauntlet is behind him and the two never change position whilst they are holding onto the axe. But a few seconds later, the Gauntlet is suddenly in between the two of them. (02:28:20)

Casual Person

Continuity mistake: When Thanos gets the Iron Gauntlet, he has armour on his right arm. When he fights Captain Marvel, the piece of armour disappears from one shot to another so his arms are free to put on the Gauntlet. (02:28:45)

Continuity mistake: When Rhodey, Hulk, and Rocket are trapped under the building, Rocket is stuck under some rubble but has one arm free. The other appears to be pinned to his chest. When Rhodey pries the rubble off him, both arms are by his side. (02:30:03)

Continuity mistake: At the end of the movie, when Thor is speaking with Valkyrie about being the new Queen of Asgard, his beard is trimmed and much shorter. In the next scene aboard the ship with the Guardians when he and Quill are arguing about who is in charge, Thor's beard is back to how long it was earlier in the film. (02:40:20 - 02:41:45)

Continuity mistake: When Steve is telling Sam what happened after returning the stones, Sam asks how'd that work out for him and Steve says it was beautiful. Steve is looking directly forwards at the lake when he says this. When the shot cuts, he is suddenly looking at Sam. (02:46:20)

Casual Person

Continuity mistake: In the first Avengers film Steve lost his helmet after the battle and got dirty, with a damaged suit and battered face, but here while they are arresting Loki he has the helmet on and the suit is intact and clean. Can't be that he cleaned himself up, because in the Avengers post-credit scene eating shawarma (after arresting Loki), Cap's suit is still dirty from the battle. Can't be that he got changed before heading down (and why would he?) because in the shawarma scene from the first Avengers movie he's still in his damaged/dirty suit after everything.

Continuity mistake: When the camera is panning over the entire army on the Avengers' side for the first time, Captain America is standing in front of everyone, and his shield is intact and round again, while Thanos broke it earlier. The next time we see it, it's back to being broken.

Suggested correction: The top half of his shield was broken off. When he is standing in front of Thanos' army, you can only see the bottom, intact half.

No no, the mistake is about the wide shot where you only see Captain America really small. He has a full shield there (as he is just CGI).

lionhead

Continuity mistake: While Tony talks with Morgan while she is wearing the helmet he is holding a teddy bear, but the next second it is on the floor.

oswal13

Continuity mistake: After Tony returns to earth he is talking with Steve and the others, and while he is sitting there is a cup with a spoon on it which changes position between shots.

Character mistake: When they infiltrate the military facility, Steve and Tony are trying to blend in. Steve wears his hat the entire time he's indoors. He's a soldier, taking his hat off when he comes through the door would be second nature to him. Not removing it would make him stand out as someone who doesn't belong - Steve knows better than that.

Continuity mistake: While Scott is eating tacos the wind blows the cup to the floor but in the next shot the cup is in the reflection of the glass, then it's back again on the floor.

Continuity mistake: When Rocket, Hulk, and Rhodey are trapped underground, a water pipe bursts, and they nearly drown. There is a shot of the three of them with only a few inches of air left. Ant-Man comes and pulls them out, but when they reappear on the battlefield, they're dry. There was at least a few minutes between when we last saw them and when they reappear on the battlefield because Rhodey has a new suit. However, it was not enough time for them to dry completely. Hulk's hair is a little damp, but Rocket's fur is bone dry and fluffed up.

Continuity mistake: The length of Thor's beard changes multiple times throughout the movie, and not consistent with the passage of time. For example, when talking to his mother, the beard is ~4" long, but soon after, when talking at the lake with the others about Nat's death, his beard is 7-8" long.

Korg: Thor, he's back. That kid on the TV just called me a dickhead again.
Thor: Noobmaster.
Korg: Yeah, Noobmaster69.
Thor: Noobmaster, hey, it's Thor again. You know, the God of Thunder? Listen, buddy, if you don't log off this game immediately, I am gonna fly over to your house, come down to that basement you're hiding in, rip off your arms and shove them up your butt! Oh, that's right, yes, go cry to your father, you little weasel!
Korg: Thank you, Thor.
Thor: Let me know if he bothers you again, okay?
Korg: Thank you very much, I will.

Question: What happened to Loki? Does this mean he's now alive?

MikeH

Answer: The Loki from the original timeline is dead, but the 2013 Loki that is imprisoned on Asgard is presumably alive and well, and the 2012 Loki that escaped with the Tesseract is alive and supposedly, this version of the character will be the focus of his own upcoming Disney+ series.

Phaneron

Answer: The Loki who escaped is in a different timeline, so he will not encounter the "main" versions of the characters. This version of Loki will appear in the new series.
