Revealing mistake: After the Kree arrive on the ship, in a side shot one of them opens the lunchbox holding the tesseract. We see the blue light emanating from inside, but that only appears once the box is fully open - while it's opening, there's no light inside at all, despite the tesseract always glowing. A later shot shows the glow being visible around the edges of the lid even when the box is completely shut, and when Carol opens it later, the glow appears immediately.
Captain Marvel (2019)
1 revealing mistake
Directed by: Ryan Fleck, Anna Boden
Starring: Samuel L. Jackson, Brie Larson, Gemma Chan, Lee Pace
Factual error: When Minerva mistakenly picks up a NERF gun to shoot Carol, the blaster she picks up is a Sharpshooter II, released in 1995. The occupants of the station were supposed to have been stranded there for six years and could not logically have obtained this item.
Carol Danvers: Did you have a rough day, Agent Fury?
Nick Fury: It was cool, you know? Had a space invasion, big car chase. Got to watch an alien autopsy. Typical 9-to-5.
Carol Danvers: So you saw one?
Nick Fury: I was never one to believe in aliens, but I can't unsee that.
Trivia: The first Marvel film released after Stan Lee's death. In tribute, the usual opening ident, which has the comic book characters in the Marvel Studios logo, instead shows multiple images of Stan Lee.

Suggested correction: We do not know that they were stranded on the station. They would have had to eat after Mar-Vell's sudden death. She could have had contingency plans in place to help them survive or others could have helped.
