Plot hole: Cruise leaves Lugnut to go buy he and Coupe some seats and mere seconds after leaving, Coupe appears in the scene and talks with Lugnut. Coupe asks if he has seen Cruise, but even if Cruise had already left to go buy tickets, Coupe would have already seen him when approaching Lugnut since she only arrived seconds after he left. Continuity mistake: After Lugnut says "Pedal to the metal" and the Champ's mechanic says, "Come on, Cruise, come on", the scene cuts to Cruise and Wrangler on the race course. Wrangler is ahead of Cruise and Cruise is behind Wrangler, to his right. In the next shot, Cruise is suddenly directly behind Wrangler. (00:28:35)
