The Little Cars in the Great Race is just an attempt to rip off Cars, and cash in on its success. Throughout the entire movie, I felt as if there was little to no effort put into it. The characters feel like they were carbon copies of the characters from Cars: The main character Cruise is a copy of Lightning McQueen, Lugnut is a copy of Mater, Mr. V8 feels like a copy of Doc Hudson, etc. Overall, the animation just looks mediocre and cheap and the writing and direction are uninspired. Pretty much nothing about this movie works.

The Little Cars in the Great Race mistake picture

Continuity mistake: When Wrangler drives over the nails on the road, he comes to an abrupt stop. When he stops, the tyres are still positioned in the same place, but in the next shot, the tyres are suddenly dislodged and sticking out of the car, as a way of representing he has broken down.
