Continuity mistake: When Tweety is hitting Thomas with a spade at the end of the cartoon, Thomas is initially standing in the fireplace, but in the next shot he is on the carpet with the fireplace nowhere in sight.

Continuity mistake: When we see Tweety getting warm by the cigar at the start of the cartoon, there is a tree behind him that changes position between shots.

Continuity mistake: When Thomas' mistress comes down the stairs after hearing a crash in the front room, the items on top of Thomas are different to the ones seen only a few seconds earlier.

Continuity mistake: When Thomas is sawing a hole around Tweety's cage, you can see the picture on the left is straight and on the right there is a door. But when the ceiling collapses, the picture is now slightly crooked and the door has changed into a window with curtains.

Continuity mistake: When Thomas uses a fan to help him catch Tweety, he goes up to the cage and finds it is empty. But after a quick cut to Tweety, we return to Thomas and the cage is nowhere to be seen.

Continuity mistake: When Thomas attempts to get back in the house by the chimney, you can see there are two logs in the fireplace. But when Tweety brings more logs over to the fireplace, the two logs that were there originally have gone.

Continuity mistake: Throughout the cartoon, look out for the swing inside Tweety's cage. In some shots, it is in the cage, in others, it isn't.

Continuity mistake: When Tweety sees Thomas walking off with his cigar, there are footprints in the snow. In the next shot, the footprints have disappeared.

Continuity mistake: When Thomas uses a fishing rod to hoist himself up to Tweety's cage, you can see that Tweety is resting himself with his arm on the swing. But when we see Tweety in the next shot, his arm is on his chest.

Trivia: "Tweetie Pie" was the first Warner Brothers cartoon to win a Best Animated Short Film Academy Award.
