Trivia: "Tweetie Pie" was the first Warner Brothers cartoon to win a Best Animated Short Film Academy Award.
Continuity mistake: When Thomas uses a fishing rod to hoist himself up to Tweety's cage, you can see that Tweety is resting himself with his arm on the swing. But when we see Tweety in the next shot, his arm is on his chest.
