Suggested correction: That's not a mistake but intentionally done to show the technology. It's not explained how it works, but the weapons disappear as it hits the targets.
Continuity mistake: When Cesar is introducing the show on the eve of the games, he says "And unfortunately..." and raises a pointed finger above his shoulder level, then says."say good bye to all but one" however the camera has changed angle and his hand should be visible but is not. (01:06:40)
Continuity mistake: Just as Katniss is preparing to go on stage with Caesar, Joanne speaks to her backstage just as Katniss starts walking out. However from the view of the audience, Joanna is up on the platform with the other tributes. (01:10:30)
Continuity mistake: When Katniss has changed dress on the stage, she holds her arms out bent slightly at the elbow. Camera cuts and now her arms are completely outstretched. (01:12:25)

Continuity mistake: When unwinding the spool of wire it gets snagged by something. When it does we see the spool which shows the wire to be messy and uneven on the spool. Camera cuts and now the wire is neatly on the spool, with the wire being evenly distributed. (02:00:50)
Continuity mistake: When Katniss starts to wrap the cable round the arrow she wraps it round the arrow head. Camera cuts and the wire around the arrow head has disappeared. (02:14:10)
