Continuity mistake: When EB is young and is in the factory for the first time, he picks up some sweets off the factory line. The amount of sweets in his hand then changes between shots.
Continuity mistake: When Ethan wakes up in the hospital he realises he's handcuffed to the bed. In the closeup of his right hand, the handcuff is around his wrist with its single metal bar facing out and the double bar facing Ethan, but when the nurse moves his gurney the handcuff is around his right wrist the opposite way, with the double bars facing out. Quite impossible for this to occur. (00:31:50)
Continuity mistake: In the 1982 movie, the alien ship is uncovered by the Norwegian scientists using thermite. (As seen on the films discovered by the Americans.) In the 2011 movie, it is uncovered when the Thing gets back into the ship and starts up the engines.
Continuity mistake: When Sylvia shoots Timekeeper Leon, the S&W 945 in her hand has a magazine inserted into it. But in the next shot where she quivers and rushes over, the magazine is gone.
Continuity mistake: When Mick got shot by Mary, the bullet goes to the left side of his upper body. After falling down, he uses his right arm for calling 911. In the next scene, he comes out of the hospital with an arm sling on his right arm.
Continuity mistake: During the film, Daniel Craig's character rides out to the house where he last saw the woman he was in love with. During the wide shot showing him on his horse riding toward the camera, the device on his wrist is missing. It is obvious if you are paying attention, as he is using the arm which is supposed to have the device to hold the reins of the horse.
Continuity mistake: During the bridge collapse scene, when Olivia is crawling on the beam, she is first seen on the part of the beam that is closer to Sam. Almost instantly afterwards, she is on the part of the them that is closer to Molly. The space between the two beams increases significantly between the two shots as well.
Continuity mistake: Just before the Smurfs are returned to the Winslows, Patrick consoles Grace. She is wearing black tights under her white dress. Then the Smurfs return on pigeon-back, and miraculously she is now bare-legged.
Continuity mistake: When Eddie walks in to the doctor's office and talks to "brows gone wild" the woman with the green shirt has it kind of loose around her breasts. The next shot of her, the green shirt is tight and tucked into her pants/skirt. Then on her way out the door, the green shirt is loose, the same way as the first shot.
Continuity mistake: While Pooh and his hungry tummy are searching for honey Pooh finds himself at Owl's house, and in the first wideshot we can see the wood sign that reads "Dont nock plez ring" with nothing above it, but once Pooh reads the sign suddenly Eeyore's tail is hanging above the sign as a bell-pull. Continuity mistake: When Tick Tock freezes Rebecca and Cecil, they are in one position, and when they go to the close up of them frozen, they are in a different position. When it zooms back out again they are in the first position. Also, when they are frozen moving on the conveyor belt, they are back in the position they were in on the close up shot. Continuity mistake: Neil McCormac - the main character - has a bust up with his American girlfriend. From the first angle he has only got a T-shirt on, then the camera changes angle and he suddenly has a sweater on. Then the camera angle goes back again and he's lost the sweater again. (01:15:00)
Continuity mistake: The interior shots of the airliner to Vegas depict a wide-body, two-aisle airliner. However, the aircraft shown during take-off is a Boeing 757, a narrow-body, single-aisle airliner.
Continuity mistake: Theseus stabs Hyperion in the throat and blood immediately fills his mouth and runs out the corners. After the camera flashes back from Theseus' expression there is no blood in Hyperion's mouth or trace on his face. When his head falls to the ground his mouth area is again covered with blood. Continuity mistake: In the scene where Griffin is marketing the yellow sports car to a customer in the dealership, he laughs out loud while fooling around in one shot, and as the camera changes, his face is straight, and when it changes to the previous camera, he is laughing and fooling around again.
Continuity mistake: When Barnaby is shot, the newspaper keeps moving away/towards him between shots.
Continuity mistake: During the first round of the Zeus versus Atom fight, as Atom gets knocked down for the third time he initially falls onto the very edge of the WRB logo in the centre of the ring. Yet as soon as the camera changes angles Atom is lying much further in on the logo.
Continuity mistake: During the final shootout, there is a shot of Nantz firing his handgun. A few shots later, Nantz pulls out his handgun and begins firing.
Continuity mistake: The first time Sherlock shows his camouflage suit, its brown colour changes between the first and second shot. The first one matches exactly that of the room, but the second doesn't. Clearly the first one was achieved with a green-chroma-suit, and the second angle was a coloured fabric.
Continuity mistake: George is in his dressing room, holding a tissue in his right hand. When the shot changes, the tissue has moved to his left hand.
