Men (2022)

Character mistake: We see the lead driving on the motorway to get to the cottage. She leaves at junction 6 for Princes Risborough. Which means she is on the M40 that goes to Birmingham. When she arrives the host asks about the drive down and mentions the M4. This is a different road entirely, that goes to Swansea.

Clockwise (1986)

Factual error: There are profound problems with the geography of the U.K. In the beginning, Stimpson is at a train station. He wants the Norwich train, but instead gets on a train bound for Plymouth. There is no station where you could get a train to both. Plymouth is in the South West. To get there from London, you go out of Paddington. Norwich is in East Anglia and you get there from Liverpool Street.

Continuity mistake: When Megs reads Norman's note in the barn about going to London, the message on the piece of paper starts off in portrait orientation and folded in half; then it becomes written in landscape orientation and folded into thirds; and then back again.

Earth to Echo (2014)

Revealing mistake: When the 13-year old boys are "driving" the car to chase after Echo, the car is not being driven at all (but on a tow-truck) because we can see that the gear lever is in the "park" position.

Puss in Boots (2011)

Continuity mistake: After Puss breaks out of prison he rides the giant Great Terror goose using coloured bunting as reins to steer and control her. In one medium shot the bunting has disappeared, but it magically reappears in the next close-up of Puss sitting astride the goose's neck.

The Smurfs (2011)

Continuity mistake: Just before the Smurfs are returned to the Winslows, Patrick consoles Grace. She is wearing black tights under her white dress. Then the Smurfs return on pigeon-back, and miraculously she is now bare-legged.

The Smurfs (2011)

Continuity mistake: In the scene in the department store one of the smurfs is eating M&Ms from a sack. There are 3 large cushions behind him coloured blue, yellow and orange but in the next scene there is no yellow cushion.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules mistake picture

Continuity mistake: At the end of the movie, Rodrick is driving Greg to school in his van. There is a close-up showing three flyers beautifully arranged on the top of the dashboard as they are driving along, and a soft toy. After Rodrick pulls away, there is no sign of the flyers and soft toy.

Continuity mistake: When visiting grandpa, Rodrick is given a glass of milk. He takes a large gulp and theatrically spits over Greg, soaking his shirt, but then they cut back to the glass on the table and there is still the same amount of milk in it.

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Susan's editors come round for supper, Greg and Rodrick have to return home by 9pm. And they do, as there is a lingering close-up of the wall clock in the sitting room showing the time as 20.55, and dialogue centring on this [i.e. the clock has not stopped]. There is then a lot of commotion about whether Susan's column is a wholly accurate depiction of the dynamics of the family that takes a good couple of minutes to play out. The editors make their excuses and leave, and we see the clock again as they are leaving, but in all the time this has taken the clock has not advanced. Then there is a further scene where the boys argue in the front room and after that has played out we see the clock again, and time has continued to stand still.
