Continuity mistake: After Dodge "intercepts" the ball at the end, they throw water on him to reveal his blue uniform. As he is running off the field his uniform is again covered in mud, but when he reaches the sideline it is blue again.
Continuity mistake: When Ryan Reynolds is in the motel room with his friend, the length of the cigarette keeps changing, longer, shorter then longer. (00:47:10)
Continuity mistake: When Summer is singing in the park, her hair changes from in front of her shoulder to behind her shoulder in between shots.
Continuity mistake: When the Ace Gang are sitting down talking about the snogging scale, Rosie has a lip gloss, passes it to Jas, Jas uses it, gives it back to Rosie, who gives it to Ellen, Ellen uses it, then gives it to Georgia. In the next shot, Rosie has it again without it being passed back along.
Continuity mistake: When Zack is talking to Deacon at the hockey game, there's a water bottle between them. It disappears during the rest of the scene, even if the two characters are not seen drinking. (00:35:00)
Continuity mistake: When Oskar shows his Rubik's Cube to Eli and explains how it works, one side is all white except one square, which differs from being red vs. blue between shots.
Continuity mistake: When the scientists are walking through the fog towards the sphere shortly after it has landed in Central Park, we see them walk through many lines of trees before reaching the sphere. Camera cuts to a different angle, when the fog has all cleared and we briefly see behind the scientists and it only shows one line of small trees quite a bit away, not the lines of trees they were walking through before.
Continuity mistake: The pile of eggs that Bud knocks over in the security video becomes noticeably smaller when the angle changes.
Continuity mistake: Shortly before the big cattle drive arc begins, Kipling Flynn pours a teacup full of rum for Lady Ashley to drink. The camera cuts to an over-the-shoulder view as Lady Ashley starts to tip back her teacup; at this point, you can see that the cup is completely empty.
Continuity mistake: When the girls are having their PE lesson and Poppy is watching them practice their Lacrosse skills, Poppy gets some mud on her face, but in the next shot as she is putting sanitizer on, the splatter of mud is bigger and has changed shape. It is before she has touched it so it wouldn't have spread yet.
Continuity mistake: In the scene in which Abel is facing the gunmen with the shotgun, after Abel takes the gun away from the gunman and holds it up under his chin, the view changes from Abel's face to the gunman's face. When Abel's face is shown, the gunman's face is low, but when it switches to the gunman's face, you can note that his head is tilted up higher, and vice versa.
Continuity mistake: When Dacyshyn drags Mulder by his legs and brings him to the shed, he goes past the tree stump with an axe embedded in it, but in the close-up of Mulder's torso there is some debris on the tree stump and the axe has disappeared, then the axe reappears still embedded in the wood. Continuity mistake: Near the end, the tank's turret is seen turning. Camera does a quick cut and it's back to where it was before. Camera cuts and it's turning again.
Continuity mistake: The morning after her wedding night, we see Mary walking with Anne telling her about the wedding night, notice Mary's braids in her hair, one braid is in a circle, yet in the next scene where Mary and Anne are folding a blanket, her braid is now down in one long braid. Continuity mistake: When the mayor of San Francisco signs the new 'gay rights bill,' he puts the pen to paper with his left hand in the far away shot. When the camera cuts to the close up of him signing the bill, he's writing with his right hand.
Continuity mistake: When Captain Jack Wander is handcuffed to the stairs, in the first shot you can see that the handcuffs aren't all the way clasped. When you see him from a different angle, they are clasped all the way.
Continuity mistake: When the Jeep stops in Priceton, we can see its on a single land road. However once it starts to accelerate in the next shot to ram the tree at the intersection, it is now a forked road.
Suggested correction: The road is a standard two way road that is unpainted with road markings. Almost all non major roadways are unpainted and many of them fork into two separate roads.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Mickey Rourke's character has decided to wrestle again toward the end of the film, there is a sequence where you see him prepping to wrestle again, part of his prep is shaving his arm pits. When he arrives to the arena to wrestle, there is a brief shot of him sitting in a chair, in that scene he lifts his arms and you can see hair in his armpits.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Benjamin drinks tea with a woman every night and they have a conversation, the woman's tea glass has varying levels of tea in it between every cut during this scene.
Continuity mistake: Tris tries to seduce Nick at the river by dancing in front of the headlights of his car. He decides to abandon her, and backs the car away. When he cranks the steering wheel clockwise and points the car up river to leave, the camera cuts to a shot of Tris standing by the river, but the headlights are still on her.
