Continuity mistake: In the scene in front of the hotel on the night before Rafe ships out to England, Evelyn puts a scarf around his neck. There is a camera shot from his back: no scarf; then another one from his front, and he's wearing the scarf again. (00:27:10)
Visible crew/equipment: At the end when Brian jumps onto the semi truck to save Vince if you look closely at the back of Brian's pants you can clearly see the safety cable that holds him onto the semi truck. (01:26:17)
Continuity mistake: The scar on the Duke's bodyguard's face switches from one cheek to the other throughout the movie, due to flipped shots. (00:17:30)
Visible crew/equipment: Near the end of the movie when the convoy is heading back to the Pakistan Stadium, a Humvee stops briefly to allow a man to walk across the street with a child in his arms. When the shot changes and the Humvee begins driving again, a crew member or cameraman is seen inside the Humvee wearing a white shirt. All of the men who entered the Humvee were wearing fatigues. Continuity mistake: After Billie slaps Dice, then leaves, her handbag swaps shoulders. (01:12:35)
Revealing mistake: When they're driving back to the Darcys' in the snow, you can see that as they pass through the village near the house, the snow on the ground is in fact a white ground sheet and has not been pulled up to the edges of the wall surrounding the green. (01:17:25)
Continuity mistake: When Nino goes to 'Les deux Moulins' for the first time, we can see Amelie writing the menu on a glass right behind him. A few shots later, we see the glass again and the handwriting is quite different. That's easy to see if you look carefully at the 'd'. Later on, we see the glass once more, and the handwriting has changed again. (01:32:55)
Continuity mistake: During Danilov's escape sequence, there is a rollover of a vehicle. While the vehicle's wheels are still turning, the tyre tread is of a modern all-season radial. When you see the vehicle again, it is a tyre more fitting for the time period. (00:14:55)
Revealing mistake: After the trained chimp is shot and is crawling into the cage, they show a shot of an ape turning around. You don't even have to look hard to see it but there's a two inch strip all the way down his face with no makeup. Clear as day. (01:41:30)
Continuity mistake: The poem displayed in Dr. Know's booth and the one on the door in Manhattan are slightly different. Dr. Know displays the line "waters and the wild" whereas the poem on the door read "waters of the wild." (01:26:30 - 01:34:10)
Continuity mistake: The metal rod Burnett uses to stop himself from sliding down, while being shot at by the sniper, changes after he grabs it. (00:38:15)
Continuity mistake: When Michael Douglas' wife stabs the kidnapper in the chest during their fight in the apartment, she stabs him with the knitting needle in his right lung. The next shot shows them lying on the floor with the needle stabbed directly into his heart on the left side of his chest.
Continuity mistake: When Segal is held captive in the speeding black van, one of the captors is pushed out the side door by Segal and is crushed when the passenger side of the van hits a row of parked cars - one of the side doors gets knocked off but a few shots later, as the van is scraping past a line of cars, the door's back on. Continuity mistake: After Rosemary cuts the cake, she lays the knife down and in the next few shots the knife changes position from laying down to sitting up back to laying down again.
Continuity mistake: To enter the Rose residence with the boot courtesy of Soneji, Cross shows the Fed at the door his badge with his left hand, that becomes the right at the cut. (00:18:45)
Continuity mistake: At the end, when John and Nadia are kissing goodbye at the airport, he puts the coat with the money over her shoulders. Her hair is outside the coat. In shots from behind, all of her hair is underneath the coat.
Other mistake: When Prot visits the doctor's house, he thanks the wife and the camera is zoomed into his sunglasses. The reflection of his glasses shows the doctor looking at him, but the doctor is standing behind him. (00:53:40)
Continuity mistake: During Mia's debate speech the "negative" sign on the podium goes from straight to crooked between shots.
Continuity mistake: When Bobby is begging his mother to let him work for Ted Brautigan, she says yes and fully ties the apron around her waist. However in the next shot, she is shown just putting the apron around her waist and tying it again. (00:21:50)
Visible crew/equipment: When the group of U.S. soldiers is going to a higher position (to attack Germans from the top), a camera and crew are visible on right side of the screen. (00:22:55)
