Continuity mistake: During one scene in the film Bones' girlfriend is looking at an old picture of her & him. You see her holding the picture and Bones turns and looks at her and she screams and she drops the picture. At the end of the movie the main character finds the picture and is looking at it. Bones once again turns his head and looks at the person. However, it's the same clip as before because you see a woman's hand with red nail polish holding the picture.
Continuity mistake: During the car chase scene between Courtney Cox with Kevin Costner in pursuit, there is at least one instance where Cox's car has been smashed on the sides, then the very next shot has the sides of the car in pristine condition.
Continuity mistake: When Nathan and Bishop are on the rooftop talking, Bishop is seen pulling a chair over so he can sit down. The camera angle changes and he's seen pulling the chair over again.
Continuity mistake: When the android steps up to fight Jason the first time, he throws his machete at her and hits her square in the chest. For the rest of the movie there is no hole in her jumpsuit. (01:03:00)
Continuity mistake: Julia (Christina Applegate) puts a "Hello My Name Is..." sticker on Thibeau's tunic with her phone number on it. Only part of the sticker is visible. When he turns around to walk down the stairs, it is fully visible. A moment later when he stops the purse snatcher, it's gone. Three seconds later, talking to the woman dressed as a witch, it's back again. (00:50:15)
Continuity mistake: When Jack is trapped in the mine under a pile of wood the arrangement of beams changes from shot to shot. (01:25:00)
Continuity mistake: Look carefully at the brochure Frank has about the Buffalo Chicken Wing festival, the building pictured is the same building as his daughter's school (seen earlier in the movie).
Suggested correction: While the buildings might look similar, they are different buildings. The school has 3 levels with rectangular windows with a pyramid top while the building in the brochure only has 2 levels of non-rectangular windows and more of a dome shape on top.
Continuity mistake: When former Cassius Clay is introduced to Elijia Mohammed to be given the new name - Mohammed Ali - we first can see Elijia Mohammed sitting on a sofa, with a table on his right, and a Revox Tape Recorder upon the table. Next scene, the Revox disappears.
Continuity mistake: When the DJ was broadcasting the new Pootie Tang song, pay attention to the hotdog eating guy. Through out the scene and between shoots, the hotdog was never fully finished. (In video viewing)
Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the film, in the scene when Ed is cutting Tolliver's hair, we see Ed holding scissors with his thumb and middle finger, yet, in the following shot he is holding them with thumb and index finger. There was no time nor need to change fingers; besides, a clipping sound is heard throughout the scene, which implies Ed never takes off scissors in order to change fingers. (00:10:05)
Continuity mistake: When Jesse and Frank are telling the doctor that his son was killed (right in the beginning of the movie) Jesse gained a lot of beard growth in five minutes. When they are outside talking to Zee, he has just a light beard, and then when they go inside he has a heavier one.
Continuity mistake: After the "car chase" the white car gets put in the barn. When the black car arrives it is covered in mud (so much they have to wipe it off the windscreen) from the dirt track. The white car only has a few specks of dirt.
Continuity mistake: When Max and the evil ice cream man are fighting at the Chinese place, Max has very few, if any papers with him, then the next shot of him riding down the street he has a lot more papers in his bag.
Continuity mistake: Nellie is called into Captain Brackett's office one day. Later, one of the girls asks her "What did the old man want this morning?" However, the scene at night between Billis and Cable shows that a whole day and night must have passed in between these two scenes. Therefore the nurse should have asked "What did the old man want yesterday?"
Continuity mistake: When Vince gives his speech to the Kuvuki people there are two men standing behind him. In a panorama shot at the end of the speech there is nobody at that spot. (01:24:25)
Continuity mistake: In the classroom scene as Paulie defends Tori, who has been called up in front of the class to complete a math problem on the board, Paulie begins to write out the equation on the right side of the board in one shot. In the next shot, her calculations are completely different and figured on the left side instead.
Continuity mistake: Brubaker slides home head first. When he is coming to the dugout, he gives his team mates high-fives. It can be clearly seen that the front of his uniform is clean and spotless.
Continuity mistake: When Bobby is sitting in the kitchen listening to his mom talk about "what his dad left them with" his arms are down on the table. In the next shot, his arms are instantly in front of him holding his new library card. (00:08:15)
Continuity mistake: During the sunscreen scene, Sam has a spot of sunscreen on his left cheek that appears and disappears between shots.
Continuity mistake: At the end of the movie when Steve and Anna are in the boat going across the harbour, in the background is a Shell petrol station on the shore. The boat is travelling from left to right across the screen, but as the camera shots change from Steve to Anna, or both at once, the Shell sign keeps changing its relative position to the boat.
