Continuity mistake: Terence Stamp takes out a pursuing vehicle by reversing his own car into it at high speed and pushing it over a cliff. When he subsequently drives off, amazingly there's no damage at all to the rear of his car. Shortly before, it is peppered with gunshot holes which mysteriously disappear.
Continuity mistake: Just after Bond and Christmas Jones climb out of the pipe, Bond is holding his shoulder and his blazer sleeves are up. In the next shot, his arms are by his side and his blazer is all neat. (01:20:05)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Jonathan picks up the scarab, it breaks open and the beetle inside starts to crawl under his skin. We see Brendan Fraser tear Jonathan's shirt and cut the beetle out of him. However, in the very next scene, we see Jonathan walking into the temple, his shirt is intact and there is no blood to be seen. (01:37:05 - 01:38:30)
Continuity mistake: At the orgy a man walks through a door with a naked woman on each arm, then the camera cuts so that Tom Cruise is in the shot with the man and two women approaching him. In this shot one of the women is a different woman from before.
Continuity mistake: The licence plate of the taxi which hits Sebastian in the end changes during the shot. (01:27:35)
Continuity mistake: Close to the end when Edward Norton runs up to the front of the empty building and Brad Pitt appears, he tries to break the glass door by pushing a bench into the door, but it doesn't work. He doesn't move the bench and he then shoots at the glass and breaks it. When it shows him walking through the broken door, the bench has disappeared. (02:05:10)
Continuity mistake: After becoming fed up with his Luke Wilson's slow driving, Lawrence decides to take over. When he jumps the bridge, they cut to the reactions of the actors inside the car. You can see in the background that they are not airborne, but still on the ground.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where the Asian gang is ramming Porter with their car, when they hit him the windshield gets smashed. When they all get back in their car and drive off the windshield is fine. (00:47:15 - 00:48:35)
Continuity mistake: When Kelly is on the boat with Hank and the soon to be headless deputy, her green vest (life-jacket) is fully unzipped. When we see her immediately after she's been knocked in the water, her jacket is zipped almost all the way up.
Continuity mistake: Rachel (Emily Bergl) is in her kitchen and she has a black and white flash back in her kitchen by the sink. One minute, she has on a flannel shirt, the next its gone and she's only wearing a tank top. A second later, the flannel shirt is back on.
Continuity mistake: When TC steals the Monet, he places the painting in the briefcase and closes the case breaking the frame in half and thus ripping the edges of the painting. When at home he opens the briefcase and the frame is obviously crooked but when he holds the painting up to place it above the fireplace it is perfectly intact and the painting is not damaged. Continuity mistake: When Frankie is about to receive the first stigmata (when sitting in the bath), a pigeon suddenly flies up. When she takes a piece of a feather that flew into the water, you can already see stigmata marks on her right-hand wrists.
Continuity mistake: When Tom, as Dickie, rents a place in Rome, and after Tom kills Freddie, the police are all over him. Marge comes calling and Tom, as Dickie, asks the policeman to ask her to come back later, which leaves Tom alone with the detective. But as we see Marge creeping up the stairs, to see Dickie, suddenly, the policeman is with Tom and the detective, even though the policeman had left and Tom had closed the doors, so the policeman should not have been there.
Continuity mistake: When she goes through the lasers it takes 2 minutes to get to the mask, but it only takes 30 seconds to get back.
Continuity mistake: When Nicholas Cage is being escorted to fetch the roll of film from his car, there are a few scenes where the accountant is holding a gun to Nicholas's head. When the camera is directed at the accountant, two hands can be seen grasping the gun, but when the camera is facing Mr Cage, initially there are two hands but after the next switchback there only appears to be the one! Continuity mistake: The tape is labelled "Vincent Grey" in the first shot, but the label disappears in the next shot. (01:11:32)
Continuity mistake: In the flashback to the death of the headless horseman, when the horseman's steed gets shot and falls to the ground, the blood and the wound are on the right side of the horse...later in the scene when the horse is seen again, the wound is on the left side of the horse. Continuity mistake: Right after the Rabbi is shot in the beginning of the movie by Dominic, we see the two prophets check to see what was taken from the office. We can plainly see the dead Rabbi take two deep breaths during this scene.
Continuity mistake: When the shark is brought up to put the needle in his head, it bites off Jim's arm, leaving only a bit left there, but when they are wheeling him to the helicopter you see that he's got more arm than before. (00:33:50 - 00:35:25)
Continuity mistake: At one point about three-quarters of the way through the movie, when Lowell Bergman (Al Pacino) and Don Hewitt (Philip Baker Hall) are talking, watch in the background as a certain lady walks past after Don says something. When we cut back to him he says something else, but the same woman in the background appears and walks exactly in the same direction, just like in the previous cut. (01:52:35)
