Continuity mistake: When the bad guys try and kill Antonio Banderas in the bookstore, after killing about the third bad guy, you can clearly see his gun lock on an empty chamber, but there's a cut and he immediately carries on shooting.
Continuity mistake: When Plague first goes to visit Dade, Plague asks the agents to leave, and as he is closing the door there is no blue jacket hanging up on the door, but when the camera cuts to a shot of the door, a blue jacket has appeared. (00:39:35 - 00:40:10)
Continuity mistake: When Dr. Ross meets her boss at the cart, as they walk towards the large building, the sunlight on the building changes between shots. (00:06:10)
Continuity mistake: When Denzel Washington is injected with the tracking device,it is injected behind his ear. But later, when he looks at his cop friend and says something to the effect of "Get my gun", the band-aid is on the side of his neck.
Revealing mistake: In most of the underwater shots you can see bubbles coming up from the cameraman.
Continuity mistake: When Sharon Stone confronts Gene Hackman at the end, she throws the marshal star at his feet. It is an inch or two in front of his boots. After he is shot, he gets flung backwards several feet. Stone then picks the star up and throws it to Russell Crowe. She picks it up from behind Hackman's body, several feet away from where it landed but still sticking out of the sand the same way.
Continuity mistake: When the FBI meets them in a parking garage to pick up & protect Cindy Crawford as they are driving away, the partner in one car, Cindy & Baldwin in the other car the partner is shot in the head, creating a blood splatter on the window - however if you look carefully this blood splatter is already on the window when they show the car turning a corner in the garage - right before he is shot!
Continuity mistake: During the spectacular car chase David Caruso's car is speeding through the streets jumping 10'-15' feet in the air. On one of the landings in a wide shot, you can see that an air bag deploys, but in the next close up of him in the car, it's not there.
Visible crew/equipment: As Sean Connery is by the stairs in Ed Harris' parents' house, a camera is visible moving into the room to the left of Sean Connery. (01:27:15)
Continuity mistake: This is the car chase scene, where Ralph Fiennes and Angela Bassett are in a limo being chased by two bad cops in a pickup. Early in the scene, you have the view from inside the pickup when it rams the limo from the rear passenger side, and you can clearly see bullet holes in the glass and rear of the limo (no weapons fired yet). Then a few seconds later in the scene, you can see the rear of the limo with no damage. Moments later, you see one of the cops firing an automatic weapon, and subsequently witnessing the holes being made in the limo.
Continuity mistake: There is a color change on Darkman's burned skin. In the beginning of the movie, in his lab, his burns are pretty much flesh colored. Later on in the movie, they are a much darker red and brown.
Continuity mistake: When J-Bone is coming down from Heaven, the lift he's on stops quite a way off the ground, and moves when he steps off it. Yet when he, Johnny and Jade step onto the lift, it seems to be on the ground as it doesn't move. It couldn't have been lowered, as we would've heard the noise of the motors.
Continuity mistake: When Po is killed by the NVA it is the middle of the night, Captains Cahill and Doyle are close enough to the village to hear the shots and rush back to the village but as they enter the village it is early dawn.
Continuity mistake: Charlegrande stabs von Trotta in his right eye, but in all later scenes it is the left eye that's missing.
Other mistake: In the scene around the camp fire, Rob Roy can be clearly seen with with plasters on his hand.
Continuity mistake: There are four appearances of an "agent equipped PDA" which is flipped open like an "original" Star Trek communicator, however the director of Burkett Industries persists in holding his PDA upside-down.
Continuity mistake: Becker is the last to go through the hatch into the NEB bunker, but when the camera switches to the view inside the bunker, Becker is seen already on the walkway while the others are still climbing down the ladder.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where the two police cars are chasing the truck, the two police cars crash into each other and explode - as soon as this happens the truck mysteriously disappears.
Factual error: In the opening scene with Doug Masters flying in Russian airspace, he is to be escorted back to American airspace by MiG-23s. But in fact the two planes that show up are F-4 Phantoms. When the "MiG" fires a missile, you see a completely different plane. Best I can tell, that is not a MiG either.
Factual error: In the movie, Wild Bill has a shootout with the bad guys in the stables. He is holding two colt revolvers, each having the capability of holding six rounds each. However as a safety precaution, only five rounds were loaded in the revolver with the hammer resting on an empty chamber as a safety. Therefore, he could only have ten rounds total from the two colt revolvers. He fired far more than ten rounds without reloading.
