Corrected entry: When Peter is stranded in the countryside after his mini broke down on the way back from the Pileforth academy, Elspeth Lomax gives him a lift. Peter explains to Elspeth he has to stop the wedding, he must get there before it starts in order to do this. Why does Elspeth take a short cut and seem so frantic about getting there fast, surely if she was on her way to the wedding as a guest, she would have arrived before the wedding started anyway. Stopping to pick up peter could only have cost her a couple of minutes at the most.
Corrected entry: In the opening scene we are told that we are looking at the Mekong Delta in Vietnam. A few moments later, a soldier appears wearing a 1st Division patch on his shoulder. The 1st Division was never in the Delta (they were in the Northern Highlands).
Correction: It's possible the soldier was transferred from the 1st and hadn't changed his patch yet or wasn't planning to change it at all. Uniform regulations during Vietnam were far more lax than today.
Corrected entry: When Ben Healy starts to go crazy he tries to smother Junior with a pillow. He doesn't get to because the doorbell rings and Junior goes to get it. The funny thing is that he keeps the pillow in his hands when he goes to the door, when they go to eat dinner, and even the next day when he finds out Junior was taken.
Correction: Not necessarily a mistake but a character choice, possibly due to the fact the man's gone crazy, maybe he feels better holding on to the pillow.
Corrected entry: We see Vinnie in a supermarket using a price gun on a package of meats to mark them down. However, the price stickers have no effect on the barcode on the underside of the meat when scanned. So the only way the price would've been marked down when scanning through a register is if the cashier manually did them all herself, not because he changed the price tag.
Correction: We have meat marked down frequently. The bar codes here are labelled on top of the meat. When the meat is marked down, the mark down price does not have a bar code, however, the price is marked down in the computer. Therefore, the scanner will pick up the bar code, the same as normal, but the marked down price will be displayed by the computer. The scanner only reads the code, it doesn't change prices. That's done by the computer. The reduced price sticker is essentially only there to let customers know the price has been reduced.
Correction: Maybe she was already running late, or maybe she was never going to attend the ceremony, just the reception.
