Continuity mistake: When Jerome get stabbed in the neck, in the first shot the blood comes from his mouth and goes towards his eye. In the next shot, there's no blood trail going to the eyes, but instead to his cheeks. (00:34:50)
Row Row Row Your Boat on a Rocky Sea - S9-E1
Revealing mistake: Dr. Charles reads the patient's chart. Near the bottom, it says, "Is this enough filler? My hand hurts." (00:19:30)
Continuity mistake: When Cory and Topanga are kissing and he puts his hand in her shirt, she stops him and says "what did you think was going to happen tonight?" Then she puts her hand on her lap. In the next shot, her hand is back on his shoulder.
Tutoring Torvald / Gerald Comes Over - S1-E13
Continuity mistake: Arnold switches from his left hand to his right hand when taking the test.
Suggested correction: I don't believe it is ever established whether Arnold is left or right-handed in the series. Without confirmation; he may very well be part of the ambidextrous population that uses both. I used to write with both hands myself in school.
I do believe he is ambidextrous. In "The longest Monday" he is using chop sticks with his right hand. Many other episodes he uses his left hand to write.
Except the mistake is saying he switches hands in between shots during the test. Not that one episode he's left handed and the next he's right handed. Yes, the teacher was shown for about 1-2 seconds before the switch happened. But these mistakes should be considered valid as an actual mistake in animation rather than to suggest to the audience that for no reason whatsoever, Arnold switches hands to finish the test, and only does so when not seen.
I'm ambidextrous myself, and I often switched hands when taking tests. It was very useful for preventing hand cramps. It only takes a couple of seconds to switch the pencil to the other hand, so I don't see why Arnold can't do it within that span of time too.
Factual error: In the scene, Floki walks towards a small waterfall today known as Kvernufoss. Floki is supposed to be the only inhabitant if not the entire Iceland, at least the region, as we are shown no sign of civilisation whatsoever, and as historical record tell us about Iceland in the early 800s (as the events of Vikings seem to take place). But a well beaten footpath is visible, leading to the waterfall at the end of the canyon. That path is an oft-travelled path tourists follow nowadays to reach Kvernufoss, a well-known site in the area. A path like that in Floki's time would simply not have existed (there is nothing in that canyon but that waterfall, no reason to go there if not for sightseeing) and represents a (tiny) intrusion of our modern world in a show set in the middle age Iceland. Continuity mistake: Early in the show, Poppy Montgomery's character gets into bed with no bra. Yet in her flashback of that night, after rushing from her bed in the middle of the night to the murder victim, a black bra strap is visible. (00:03:15 - 00:04:20)
Visible crew/equipment: As Hannah goes to take the cassettes we can see the shadow of the moving camera. (00:04:25)
Character mistake: There is a spelling error in the newspaper that Sakurako Sawatari is reading in one episode: the word, "admits" is spelled "adwits." (00:01:00)
Episode #1.3 - S1-E3
Continuity mistake: When Jin-a meets up with her friend in the coffee shop, she hands the friend a drink. The friend is shown placing her left hand on the side of the cup and her right hand on the straw. The camera changes angles and both hands are suddenly off the cup and straw. (01:14:49)
Visible crew/equipment: When the crow is on the cross Caine tells the crowd there's nothing to be afraid of in a bird, and just as he explains that it's only a creature of the earth, the shadow of the animal trainer can be seen motioning to the trained bird, then it flies off and lands on the trainer's hand. Funny to see Caine and the crowd turn and pretend to watch the bird fly in the opposite direction. (00:28:10)
Continuity mistake: When Murdoch and Crabtree arrive to the fairground to apprehend Agnes, they lean their bikes against the "annual fair" banner stretched on a handrail. The camera shows the detective and the constable from behind, making visible that the weight of the bikes make the banner to ruck down significantly. However, when the next cut shows them frontwise, the banner is in neutral position. (00:40:30)
True Colors - S1-E6
Continuity mistake: Walter and Paige begin dancing and there is a lady dancing in a green dress behind them. In the next frame, that same couple is dancing across the room and then a second later next to Walter and Paige again. Walter's left hand holding Paige's in a dancing position also changes from open to closed. (00:26:05)
The Four of Us are Dying - S1-E13
Revealing mistake: As the men walk out of the alley, the block continues ahead of them. You can see it's a painted background.
Continuity mistake: The scene where Danny is lying on the sofa in the flat listening to music. Stacey throws down an envelope of money onto his chest. The banknotes spill considerably out of the envelope in the first shot. Two shots later and without either Danny or Stacey having touched the money, the banknotes are mysteriously tucked back inside the envelope.
The Saint of Last Resorts - S1-E8
Continuity mistake: John throws some stones onto a table to investigate whatever took the baby. The angle changes and they're in a completely different arrangement.
Visible crew/equipment: At the courthouse, while the Agents are in the room with the corpse, Hurstview stands behind an overturned potted plant. After Hurstview opens Skip's safe, just as Barnes and Long exit the room Hurstview moves his foot, and the actor's green tape mark is visible on the carpet at his feet. (00:20:00)
Transition - S1-E6
Continuity mistake: Right after Charmaine opens her top to reveal her botched boob job, when Max goes up to see Tara giggling in the bedroom and sits besides her, Tara goes from facing forward to facing Max between cuts. She's also closer to Max in the second shot.
Continuity mistake: When Marshall first finds Trip's letter, he holds it from the left side. In the close-up, he's holding it from the right side. (00:02:10)
Visible crew/equipment: When Joel and Ellie cross the bridge, you can see crew on the left, in the overhead long shot. This show is an HBO Original, and the mistake has been edited out in the current streaming version. (00:14:35)
