Continuity mistake: Near the beginning of Final Fantasy II, Firion, Maria and Guy witness Scott dying in the basement of the pub in Fynn. However, at the end of Soul of Rebirth, the Emperor says that Scott died while defending Kashuan Keep.
Continuity mistake: During the second case, Phoenix says that Maya was involved in a murder when a spirit she was channelling took control of her body and shot someone dead. Phoenix and Maya both seem to have forgotten that he discovered that another woman had knocked Maya out during the channelling and committed the murder herself. In fact, he had to prove this in court to prevent Maya from being executed.
Continuity mistake: When inside Mephisto's realm, Jean Grey and Nightcrawler are both kept in cages and Blackheart informs the player that only one of the heroes can be saved, but the other hero will die. If the player chooses to save Jean Grey, then Nightcrawler will fall into the pit, and for a short while aid Mephisto before sacrificing himself. After the game is over, one of the cut scenes will say that Mystique, upset over the death of Nightcrawler, kills Professor Xavier. When it shows Professor Xavier's tombstone, Nightcrawler is seen standing next to it.
Continuity mistake: In the intro at the very start of the game, it shows Shade being played in Mystic Ruins. However, this isn't possible in the actual gameplay as you can only play Shade after the Metropolis zone, and by this point you can't go back to Mystic Ruins.
Continuity mistake: Before Eddie and Sam enter the Skobel building to retrieve the laptop, Viktor's red Mercedes is not outside. In the next cut scene it is automatically there.
Continuity mistake: Link is left handed in all Zelda games thus far, except for the Wii version of Twilight Princess. He holds his sword in his left hand in this game, except when he is facing East.
Continuity mistake: After Snake sees the area Meryl was shot, the codec conversation afterwards has Naomi bringing up that her grandfather was Japanese and was an undercover investigator for the FBI during Edgar Hoover's time in New York. Master Miller later points out this is not true as there were no Asian investigators, however he now refers to the man as Naomi's father, not grandfather.
Continuity mistake: In the last mission of the game, Sam is situated in an area where he has to sneak up on the big boss, and take him down along with his two men. Sam must do this very quietly as to not get seen or a timer will go off for 1 minute, and makes it that much harder to finish. You can hear the other characters making comments every so often, like "I think I hear something, or something down there is moving." And if Sam is not seen, you hear a character say "It's probably just the train." There is no train in this mission, there was one however 4 or 5 missions earlier.
Continuity mistake: If your character faces left, whether left diagonally or straight left, the weapon(s) and/or shield in your character's hands is reversed from normal. This applies to all playable characters.
Continuity mistake: When Serge changes back from Lynx's body to his, he's naked is the room. However, when he goes through the doors, he's wearing his normal attire again even though no one gave him any clothes to put on.
Continuity mistake: In Sonic's campaign, after crashing Tails' flying machine you are told Tails is missing, yet when you reach the next action stage Tails is once again behind you.
Continuity mistake: If you go into the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and Buu comes in count how many people are in there. Three, but in "The Legicay of Goku II" Mr. Pope Says only TWO can go in.
Continuity mistake: After defeating Blane, Bill will appear and ask you to go to the Sevii Islands. Answer no. He'll then go to the Cinnabar's Pokemon Center and will wait for you there. However, if you fly to his house in Route 25, he'll also be there. He's in two places at the same time.
Continuity mistake: No matter what character is chosen in multiplayer, it will always have Bond's hands.
Continuity mistake: When going to the Gotham City Bank, the clock tower bell will begin to ring. Alfred then contacts Batman and says that it's now 12:00 AM and wishes him a merry Christmas. If you look at the clock tower, however, the clock says that it's only 9 o'clock.
Continuity mistake: During the cutscene where a Majini places the Plaga into the other man's mouth, the table shows there is no TV, however, when gameplay with Chris / Sheva begins again, a TV is on the table.
Continuity mistake: In the level Second Sun, when you take control of Ramirez for the second time, the EMP doesn't hit until a few seconds pass. You can tell because the street lights and helicopters are still fully functioning. However, your holographic sight has already been disabled.
Continuity mistake: In the ending cutscene of the G5-Building level, you will see you have come out of a plain wall, which you blew down before completing this level.
Continuity mistake: In the mission of Sector X, you fight the boss Spyborg. For slower players, Spyborg will usually smack Slippy with its hand and send the toad's crippled Arwing hurtling towards the planet Titania. Faster players can destroy Spyborg before it can attack the cocky Slippy. If this is done, you go to Macbeth instead of Titania. However, if you chose to go to Titania anyways, the mission plays out with Slippy crashed and captured by the mission's boss. Yet he didn't get hit and crash in the previous mission.
