G-Force picture

Plot hole: Ben demonstrates for the FBI that he has not only invented gear that allows animals to speak English, but trained ordinary rodents to a level on par with Navy Seals. The FBI laughs at him and cuts his funding, a plot hammer so G-Force can escape and save the day. Are they kidding!?! Even if the info G-force brought back is wrong, Ben has created agents that can repeatedly infiltrate almost literally any place on Earth. No government agency would pass up such a huge intelligence gathering tool.

Plot hole: When Miss Price, Professor Browne and the children return from their magical journey to the island of Naboombu and realize they no longer have the Star of Astroroth pendant, Miss Price says, "I should have known it would be quite impossible to take an object from one world into another." Yet, they had no problem taking themselves, the bed, blankets and pillows from one world into another.

The Golden Compass picture

Plot hole: During the climatic battle in the snow, Lyra Belacqua is about to get shot by one of the soldiers, and Iorek Byrnison comes to her rescue and is able to surprise & kill the soldier. The problems with this is where Iorek appears would have been right in the line of sight of the solider, and bearing in mind that Iorek is VERY big, wearing armour so as not to blend in with the white surroundings, and making lots of noise, it would have been impossible for Iorek to stealthily appear from nowhere.

Byzantium picture

Plot hole: Ruthven is apparently bitter that he has been denied his chance of becoming an immortal vampire after Clara steals the map from him, which is why he attacks Eleanor. But why doesn't he just go to the island anyway? You don't need to be invited - Clara, Eleanor and Frank aren't. Having been there once, it seems highly unlikely he can't find it again - he's a naval captain, so navigation and observation are major professional skills for him. And it isn't hidden or magically protected - the local boatmen know where it is and are prepared to take people there, although they won't set foot on it themselves. He could quite easily have gone there without the map, entered the shrine and been turned into a vampire if that's what he wanted.

Plot hole: When Cyborg tells his origin story, he says that the Mother Box in possession of the government was shelved till after the night when Superman died, when it came to life leading it to be studied by Cyborg's father, Silas. However, that contradicts the previous movie, Batman v Superman [both 1 h 39' and 2 h mark], where Batman came upon Luther's metahuman evidence file, including Silas Stone's vlog with the creation of Cyborg that Diana watches. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker picture

Plot hole: While the pair are duelling on Kajimi, Kylo Ren only realises Rey is onboard his ship when the mask of Darth Vader is force-teleported between them. However in this same fight Rey is wielding the dagger, which Kylo must have known was also inside Ren's chambers before the fight. So he should've been able to determine Rey's location earlier.

Suggested correction: While he should have had some idea, it doesn't prove she is in his quarters, only that she has been there. It's also a small item that he may not have noticed in her hand, focusing more on her lightsaber.

Hogwash. He could have easily noticed it, even if he was focused on her lightsaber. Maybe it is small but rather easily noticeable.

I think the biggest point is the mask proves her location whilst the dagger in her hand doesn't.

It's also a weapon. In a combat situation a trained fighter like Kylo would have checked her other hand for a weapon as it is a common tactic to check a swipe with the main blade and stab with an off hand short weapon.

Plot hole: It seems unlikely that Debbie would have managed to take the photographs of her husbands' murders she shows the Addams family at the end, especially considering the angle of the shot of the surgeon. He's not looking at the cam so she wasn't holding it.

Plot hole: In the end of the movie, when Willy Wonka decides to visit his father, his father does not recognize him until he looks at his "rare teeth." But the wall of newspaper printings that Charlie was looking at included a recent enough picture of Willy that the father would have definitely recognized him, before seeing his teeth, as Willy doesn't look like a normal person with that outfit.

Being John Malkovich picture

Plot hole: The timing in the film is way off. Given the hours when JM Inc is open, most of the people there would only get to be Malkovich while he was asleep (yes, films have late-night shootings, but not every night); and Craig and Maxine stay up the whole time, then mess with Malkovich afterwards, then get in for work the following morning without showing any sign of fatigue even though there are less than 2 hours left for sleep.

Around the World in 80 Days picture

Plot hole: When Fogg convinces the cargo ship captain to take him to Shanghai, he pays for the passage of himself and two of his colleagues. One of these colleagues is Aouda, but as Passpartout is not there, the other one must be Fix. Why, then, does Fix have to pay for his own passage? If you notice, Fogg seems surprised to see Fix on board.

Suggested correction: At no point do they travel to Shanghai. They travel from India to Hong Kong to Yokohama. There is no scene where he negotiates with the cargo ship Captain. And he is definitely not surprised to see Fix. Are you sure you were watching the 1956 version?

Suggested correction: Just in case Passpartout does show up at the last minute? Also, knowing Phineas Fogg, he has probably already hired Passpartout's replacement and it is for him.
