Continuity mistake: In the scene where Richie is running away from the gaurds he dives over the platform and knocks over the statue with his foot, but when the other gaurds go to jump over it, the statue reapears.
Continuity mistake: When Kris gives the children toys, one of them says, "What about the Meisterburger?" Kris than says, "What about him? I'll save him a big red yo-yo!" and pulls out a red yo-yo. However, when he hands it to the Meisterburger, it is not red, but is yellow and has blue and red stripes.
Continuity mistake: While Bill waits for his brothers in the car, he looks toward the store and watches his brothers inside. The first shot of Bill's perspective of looking at the store, there is a reggae black man walking by. Then it switches back to Bill's face, then again at the store and the man walks by the window a second time in the same direction. When Bill gets out of the car and crosses the street the black man walks by a third time.
Continuity mistake: After the dogcatcher, Mr. Cluge, takes Puppy Paws to the dog pound, he unfastens the dog's collar and hangs it on a peg on the wall. The next time the collar is shown, it is fastened again.
Continuity mistake: When the song about Ebeneezer Scrooge is about to end, just as Ebeneezer is walking down the last lane, the first Muppet you'll see to the left when he has come down the stairs is wearing a red weird hat. Just a second after Scrooge has walked past the lady with the funny hat, when they sing, "If being mean's a way of life you practice and rehearse," you see the same Muppet with the same hat, now standing in front of Scrooge. She had no time to get there between the two shots.
Continuity mistake: At the end, while Billy chases Kelli, Kelli knocks over a cart of surgery supplies, spilling the material forward. However, a few shots later, Billy is shown picking a scalpel up from the small tin pale, which slid ahead of Kelli. So how could Billy have picked up the scalpel if he was behind Kelli?
Continuity mistake: Arthur's older brother gets "bombed" by a seagull. In the very next scene, there is nothing on his jacket, but the offending "message" appears again a little later on.
Continuity mistake: During the final scene of the Nativity, when the baby is born, look at the boy to the right of Mary, he is tipping the candle upside down. When the camera changes shots, he has now got the candle in his mouth.
Continuity mistake: While Ricky is on his shooting spree, he manages to shoot at an oncoming car, causing it to to crash and roll over. As the car rights itself, the driver and the car seats are visible. The right rear passenger window is also fully intact. Just before the car explodes, the driver has disappeared, along with the car seats and the same rear side window is now completely missing.
Continuity mistake: A group of people are in the copying room taking turns taking pictures of their butts on the copier. When one of them sits on the glass part of the copier, the glass part breaks. When he gets up, it's not broken.
Continuity mistake: Lucia's hair goes from disheveled to styled during the time it takes for Pia to say (over the phone), "You've gone almost a decade without a single, serious relationship, Lucia." Moreover, Lucia is already applying mascara. It takes longer than 5 seconds to style/fix one's long hair. (00:01:23)
Continuity mistake: Having just reached New York, Langston tries to reach by public phone Reverend Cornell Cobbs. The receiver is in his right hand, until there's a cut to the reverse angle and the phone switches to his left hand. (00:12:30)
Continuity mistake: After spotting her dream house Susan runs to the door. As she approaches the house it's not the same building she spotted from the car. (01:23:50)
Continuity mistake: Before going to bed, Scrooge takes off his slippers and puts them by the side of his bed. But when he is disturbed by the singers, the slippers and the pillows he is resting his head on have disappeared.
Continuity mistake: When Jake is holding onto the roof of the vehicle, he sees a toddler in the back seat. When the vehicle makes a turn and Jake falls off, the toddler isn't in the back seat.
Continuity mistake: In the first elevator scene, when Shirley MacLaine calls the floor number (19), between her, Jack Lemmon and the wall there are a man with a fedora reading the New York Times, and a woman with a turban. When the elevator doors open and people come out of the cabin, the woman is nowhere to be seen. (00:17:05)
Continuity mistake: Allie's brother asks their dad (who just finished pitching the "bones for bowsers dot com " idea to Sam) "How long are you gonna be gone this time." He raises and lowers the hands in the same shot, and in the next the hands are raised again. (00:03:15)
Continuity mistake: Susan Lucci's hair color goes back and forth from reddish brown to black in several scenes.
Continuity mistake: When Sheriff Cooper writes "Karsson" and underlines it on the chalkboard, the way it is written changes between shots. In one particular shot, the line he underlined it with is suddenly rubbed out.
Continuity mistake: In the scene just before the snowman comes to life, the clock in the hallway reads midnight. But a little later, when he is showing the snowman around the house and he is about to lead him upstairs, the clock reads 8:05.
