Plot hole: Since the criminals who used the dogs to rob the bank in the first movie were never apprehended (No criminal worth their salt would tell the authorities their caper was spoiled because the canines ran off with their loot), there is no way the people who are hunting the dobermans in the beginning of this movie would know the dogs were still carrying the cash. Factual error: When the International Space Station gets a call from Houston asking them to confirm the storm is dissipating the station is over Europe moving on a westbound trajectory. The International Space Station moves on an eastward trajectory, not westward. (01:45:35)

Trivia: The license plate on the back of the pickup truck given to Mr. Taylor as a gift from the Shiloh Christian Academy says "Jay Austin Motors." This was the name of the Auto Dealership in Sherwood Church's previous movie, Flywheel. In fact, all the movies made by Sherwood Church have a reference to this fictitious auto dealer. (01:04:55)

Question: Anyone notice the monolith at the far left of the matte painting showing the first view of Zyra after the ship landed? The details on it are WAY too symmetric to be natural (The Authors of When Worlds Collide printed a sequel called "After Worlds Collide", but this novel was never made into a movie), In the sequel, the survivors find the remains of a lost civilization.

Continuity mistake: In part 3 an agent of the Red Skull tweaks a letter on a statue to activate the third and final "Sleeper." At a distance you see the statue depicts someone on horseback, one of the horse's hooves is above the ground. As the agent tweaks the letter, all four hooves are on the ground. (00:14:05)
