Other mistake: When the group is in Wilmington, before going to see the dead whale, they run into Duff, a shipmate of Roger's. He introduces everyone, introducing Marsali as 'also Mrs. MacKenzie.' He should introduce her as 'also Mrs. Fraser,' since she is married to Fergus Fraser.

Continuity mistake: When Danny is having the car conversation with Mr Halloran, Danny mentions the time in a store where he went to a person who was thinking about stealing a radio from the store and told him not to. A few pages later when Danny is alone and thinking about his talk with Halloran, Stephen King says that Danny convinced the kid not to steal a television instead of a radio.

Continuity mistake: Diana Foxton's hair goes from blonde to brunette and back again over a couple of pages.

More A Kept Woman mistakes

Factual error: Claudia and Jamie stay in one of the museum's beds while hiding out in the museum. The card at the foot of the bed claims that the bed itself was the "scene of the alleged murder of Amy Robsart, wife of Robert Dudley, Earl of Leicester". Except that Amy Robsart was killed when she fell down the stairs in her house - nothing at all to do with a bed. The Metropolitan Museum would have done some research into that.

More From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler mistakes

Other mistake: On page 457, when Carpathia is about to murder Stonagal and Todd-Cothran, the orientation makes no sense. Carpathia is standing with a gun to Stonagal's (who is kneeling) ear, and Todd-Cothran is sitting upright in a chair on the other side of Stonagal. There is no way that the bullet could have the trajectory to kill Todd-Cothran without taking a sharp turn upward after passing through Stonagal's head.

More Left Behind 1 mistakes

Other mistake: In chapter 22, page 107 in the first edition, Eddie is talking and says, "I want some more information on Rocco, that's all. The cops are convinced that Rocco killed him." The second Rocco should be Rodger. As written, the cops are convinced that Rocco killed himself in the third person.

More Who Censored Roger Rabbit? mistakes

Continuity mistake: In the first Bridget Jones book, quite early on Bridget attends a tea party for her godson Harry's birthday (Magda's son). However, in The Edge of Reason Magda's children change completely. During the second chapter Magda goes out with the girls who mistakenly think she is still pregnant, Magda states 'I had her five weeks ago' meaning she had a baby girl in late December. But later on in chapter 8 when Bridget looks after Magda's children for the day, the children are referred to as Constance (who is nearly 3) Harry (who is nearly 1 - despite having had a birthday in the first book) and the baby who is referred to as a 'him'. Also, if the baby had been born late December, it would have meant she either had a very short pregnancy or somehow gave birth to Harry in the summer whilst pregnant with the baby due in December.

Other mistake: On the back of the book it says that there are mistakes for 'Shark Tale' but inside the book there are no mistakes for that movie.

More Movie Mistakes: Take 4 mistakes

Factual error: During most of the book an idol is being carried around, about the size of a human head, made of a material from a meteorite ("Thyrium"). This is said to have a density one order of magnitude lager than that of Plutonium. That gives a mass for the idol of about one metric ton, a bit heavy to carry around.

More Temple mistakes

More Gossip Girl mistakes

Continuity mistake: In the story 'The Stickman' the author changes two character's names. 'Jennifer' changes to 'Jessica' halfway throughout the story, and the other female character 'Windy-Sue' changes to 'Wendy-Sue'.

More Dreadful Tales mistakes

Continuity mistake: In book I when Michael leaves to see his father at the hospital, the narrative text states that Kay Adams would not see him again until three years had passed. When they are reunited in book VII it is often stated that they've been apart for two years, not three.

More The Godfather mistakes

Factual error: Jade Falcon Elemental Taman Malthus refers to needing one more warrior to complete his Star of 5. A Star of Elementals is 25 warriors. In Clan military organization, 5 Elementals is a Point. 5 Points per Star.

Grumpy Scot

More Lost Destiny mistakes

Factual error: Tr'Hrienteh appears to change sex around page 290 in chapter 16. The prefix Tr' in Rihannsu names means a male (females being T') but in the scene in the sickbay Tr'Hrienteh is referred to as 'she' and 'her' which doesn't fit with the naming conventions.

More The Empty Chair mistakes

Other mistake: After Donna tells Tad that he can ride with her to the Camber's place, it says "Ted clapped his hands." It should be Tad, not Ted.

More Cujo mistakes

Continuity mistake: This is from the American hardcover copy, near the end of the book. On page 283, Opal says "Whoever is passing wind, please stop it, or I will devise a fitting punishment." Then on page 297 (it is the same time, but from Mulch's point of view instead of Opal's) Opal says "NOW, whoever is passing wind, please stop it, or I will devise a fitting punishment." Since it is the same time on both pages, she should say exactly the same thing.

More Artemis Fowl: The Opal Deception mistakes

Continuity mistake: Arrington has a son. At the end of an earlier book, Swimming to Catalina, Arrington had a daughter.

More L.A. Dead mistakes

Factual error: At one point in the book the author states that CCCP are the Russian initials for the Communist Party, which is completely wrong. CCCP are Russian (Cyrillic) initials for the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR).
