Continuity mistake: When Miller's men are about to take the bunker under the radar tower, they are kneeling on the ground behind some bushes discussing their flanking moves and Jackson is about two feet away from Reiben to his left, but when it cuts Jackson is now behind Reiben. (01:22:35)
Continuity mistake: When we first see Hobbs he is marking a load of paperwork as captured. On the first sheet, he punches "captured" directly on the photo. In the next shot the word "captured" has changed its position on the photo. (00:09:35)
Continuity mistake: When Marty arrives in 1955, he lands on Peabody's farm and rams through the pine tree he then hits a scarecrow which flies over the top of his car. Then as they show it from the inside the scarecrow slams into the windshield - but how can it slam into his windshield if it is already over the car? (00:31:30)
Continuity mistake: In the scene in the apartment, where the Terminator cuts the flesh away from his damaged eye, he picks up a hobby knife that has a blade attached. Visible crew/equipment: When Ingrid sits at the vanity table in the bedroom, in the shot just after Gregorio's screen reads, "Type password," but just before the close-up of Ingrid's fingers typing on her makeup, there is a lovely reflection of a crew member behind the camera, which is perfectly clear in the mirror to Ingrid's right. Continuity mistake: When Vader's shuttle is approaching the Death Star, the crew in the control room of the Death Star are wearing black gloves. One of them then reaches forward to press a button, but in the close-up of his hand pressing the button, the hand is not wearing gloves at all. This can only be seen in the widescreen version. Revealing mistake: At the end when Brian jumps onto the semi truck to save Vince if you look closely at the back of Brian's pants you can clearly see the safety cable that holds him onto the semi truck. (01:26:17)
Continuity mistake: When DeVries' Ferrari crashes into the fence, the license plate is lying crooked, touching the bumper. When the cops blow it up, it's not touching the bumper. Continuity mistake: When the Terminator pulls John off the dirt bike during the drainage ditch chase, the dirt bike falls onto its left side and the gas tank is about to be crushed by the tow truck. Visible crew/equipment: In Mary Ann's kitchen, just as Ray comments, "Ok, well you hungry? I'll get you some food," the clear reflection of a male crew member moving is visible in the glass window behind Ray. Then, just as he says, "This is ketchup and mustard," another male crew member, who is crouching, is visible directly in front of Rachel's reflection. (00:35:45)
Continuity mistake: The Bank truck full stops away from a zebra crossing, but the close shot shows it on top of it.
Factual error: In a shot in Harlem, a Ford Econoline AVIS rental truck drives on the adjacent street. The specific Econoline van was at least a mid-90's to 2000+ model van and the movie takes place in the 70s.
Continuity mistake: During the big battle against the Chitauri, Captain America is zapped with a blaster bolt. When Thor helps him to his feet we can see a significant amount of damage done to his suit, just below the star on the right hand side. But later on after Iron Man destroys the Chitauri ship with the nuke, the damage is completely gone. (01:59:25 - 02:02:40)
Continuity mistake: When blood gushes out of the bullet wound during 05's introduction, in the first slo-mo the squirt goes diagonally across her eye. Then all that is left is a horizontal streak from the mouth. It is implied that between cuts she fit her glove by biting it, so the inconsistency can be explained (even if just a rushed wipe would hardly clean her completely). The real mistakes are: 1 - she has a dotted streak of blood before and after, entirely inconsistent with those close-ups, and 2 - when Ryan Reynolds and Dave Franco are talking about the 'squirting', you can see in the background Adria Arjona's face is totally clean.
