Other mistake: When Chandler, Monica and Erika arrive back at the apartment after sightseeing, Chandler enters the apartment from the left (past where their apartment door is) rather than from the right, as if he came up the stairs. He obviously is entering from the stage and didn't take the time or cue to appear to enter from the direction of the stairs.
Continuity mistake: When Rachel is talking to Joshua near the drinks table at the party, he is holding a blue cup in his left hand and nothing in his right (this is most obvious when she's offering him a cherry). When she begins to choke, he raises his empty right hand to pat her on the back, then when she walks away there is suddenly a bottle in his raised hand. The shot changes, and his hand is again empty and he reaches down to the table and picks up the same bottle.
Revealing mistake: When Monica leaves the apartment and Chandler stays listening to the answering machine, check the wall beside the door. It changes the angle, as if somebody moved it (probably to hide the hall).
Continuity mistake: Chandler and Monica are having dinner with her parents. He asks Jack how he and Judy got engaged. He starts, "Well I'd gotten Judy pregnant..." In an earlier episode they talk about how Jack told Monica's friends a "scary story" about how Judy got pregnant because her method of birth control, her diaphragm, had malfunctioned (damaged by a dog). In the rest of the show, however, we are continually hearing that the firstborn, Ross, was "a medical marvel" and that they thought Judy was barren. This apparently is the main reason why they love Ross more than Monica.
Continuity mistake: In the opening scene Phoebe and Chandler discuss how Phoebe knows Chandler is going to propose: by walking in on him whilst he was looking at a ring catalogue on the toilet. However, in the previous episode Chandler leaves the apartment right after he found out about Monica booking the wedding slot (on the answerphone) and doesn't come back until he 'freaks out' at Monica and then it is revealed that it was just put on and Phoebe is in on the plan. It doesn't add up as Chandler would have had to have been looking at the catalogue between hearing the message and deciding to propose, in the same afternoon when he wasn't even in the apartment.
Factual error: Before Ross goes out to play the second half of the rugby game, Emily gives him some tips on how to hurt the other guys. She singles out one of the guys, saying he doesn't wear a cup. These guys are all English players who love rugby. Rugby players would NEVER wear a cup for rugby is more of a grinding sport than hit and miss. These guys would be crazy to wear a cup.
Revealing mistake: During the end bit, before we get to see Phoebe when she is being interviewed at Lara and Jeni's Massage, if you look closely at the name of the massage parlor, you'll see that, although the camera shakes and bumps, the words stay on the very same spot on the screen. Obviously the canopy was blank and the name was digitally added later.
Continuity mistake: When Rachel suggests to Joshua that they should get married, he says "What?", and his hands are out in front of him. The camera cuts to a wide shot and his hands are now on his thighs. Cut back to Joshua and his hands are now out in front of him with his fingers interlocked.
Continuity mistake: When Ross and Rachel are pushing Emma on the swing, the legs of Emma's pants change position several times between shots. At first they are pulled up with her legs exposed, then they are down further, and in the last shot when Ross gets kicked, they are pulled up again.
