Other mistake: Chandler tries to open the door that leads to his room, but Joey has sawed the door in half so only the upper half opens, and Chandler then falls over the bottom half. He has to hit it with some force to fall over it, but it doesn't budge an inch.
Other mistake: In this episode we seemingly understand why Ross and Monica's parents favor Ross. In one scene at Monica's apartment Ross says that it is because their parents thought Judy was barren. This would make sense except that in TOW Rachel's Book, Jack and Judy tell Monica and Chandler that they had to get married because Judy was pregnant. Judy was using a diaphragm as birth control and Jack's dog ate it. It doesn't make sense that Judy would use a diaphragm if she thought she was barren. This was not news to Monica since she said she had heard the story about the dog eating her mother's diaphragm at her 5th grade Halloween party.
Other mistake: In series 8, 'The One with the Videotape,' when they are watching Ross and Rachel on the TV and when Rachel (on the video) is discussing the invitations and how Monica didn't shut up about sending them, Chandler points at the TV and makes a kind-of confused face. A few minutes later, just before he says 'Did you do it on our invitations?' the same shot of him pointing and pulling a face comes up.
Other mistake: When Joey comes out the bathroom in the girls' apartment with a turkey stuck on his head, the bathroom floor has the black and white tiles. But that floor wasn't there until Joey put it there in Series 3, The One With Frank Jr. So in the flashback the bathroom floor should be white tiles.
Other mistake: When Rachel leave her message on Ross' answering machine she mentioned the name Michael after 17 seconds and "I'm over you" after 25 seconds. When Ross listen to the tape he asks "Who is Michael ?" after 8 seconds. Rachel flips the phone out of his hand after 18 seconds so he couldn't have heard her "I'm over you."
Other mistake: In the scene where Rachel is talking to Chandler in the hall, after she says "the 4th of July", it cuts to a shot from behind Rachel's head. If you look on the right hand side of the screen, you can see a piece of wood in the foreground. This probably came from Joey and Chandler's doorframe, through which this view would have been filmed. In addition, this door was supposed to have been closed throughout the entire duration of this scene.
Other mistake: When Ross is at Monica's party getting Mr. Green's glasses and cigarettes he bumps into Mrs. Green and ends up having to come up with an alibi for the glasses and cigarettes. He then puts the glasses on, puts a cigarette in his mouth and says 'In fact I'm gonna go out into the hallway and fire up this bad boy'. At this point he walks past Rachel but he stops still as if frozen mid-step just before the shot cuts to him walking out into the hallway.
Other mistake: When Chandler, Monica and Erika arrive back at the apartment after sightseeing, Chandler enters the apartment from the left (past where their apartment door is) rather than from the right, as if he came up the stairs. He obviously is entering from the stage and didn't take the time or cue to appear to enter from the direction of the stairs.
Other mistake: There are two mistakes in the scene where Phoebe spots Joey's picture in the laundromat. For one thing, when Phoebe says "Oh, here it is", she is looking in the opposite direction of the picture. Also, when she says this, her mouth doesn't move at all.
Other mistake: When Phoebe accidentally allows Chandler's ring to be sold, she tells him that she overheard which restaurant the guy said he was taking his girlfriend to, so they can go find him and persuade him to exchange rings. However, in the previous scene we see that Phoebe was paying no attention at all to that guy - she was too busy trying on jewellery. She wasn't even within earshot of the guy, and we see from her reaction that she hadn't even noticed him at all before he left the store with the ring (during which time he doesn't say anything at all).
Other mistake: Mid episode when Monica turns off the cordless phone after being told by Wendy that she can not make it, the phone makes the "out of range" audio tone instead of the "power off" audio tone. Occurs directly as Monica says, "Wendy, we had a deal, yeah, you promised. Wendy, Wendy, Wendy.".
