The Legend of Zelda

The White Knight - S1-E3

Revealing mistake: After Link humiliates himself and gets laughed at, he storms off and leaves the castle on his horse, Katherine. Ganon sees Link leave on Katherine through his gazing ball. The animation of the horse moving is badly done. The steps look fake and she looks like she is just sliding across the dirt for the most part. (00:39:30)

Revealing mistake: There is one shot of the house with the wheelbarrow, while Zelda is beside it with the crossbow, that shows the side of the house. The window shutters on that side are badly drawn. They are different sizes, even on the same window, and half don't even line up with the windows right. Especially the left shutter on the right window. (00:31:55)

Revealing mistake: After Zelda is kidnapped by the Zola, Prince Facade rushes out the castle door with a giant Spider hanging on him. Watch closely as he opens the door. For several frames as the door opens, there is nobody there. But once the door is a little past half open, Prince Facade and the spider suddenly just appear in the shot almost already out the door. Revealing mistake: After Link storms off after being laughed at, there is a shot showing his medals on the floor in front of the door. The designs at the bottom of the door are poorly drawn and misshapen. Being a nice, royal castle like this, they wouldn't have imperfect metal plating designs on their doors. This is just poor art and was likely rushed. (00:38:30)

The White Knight - S1-E3

Revealing mistake: Trying to impress Zelda, Link walks into the room where she and her father are listening to Prince Facade's tall tales, wearing his idea of a prince outfit, complete with blue boots that have spurs on them. As he walks forward, the spurs keep passing right through the opposite foot like it's not there. (00:38:10)

Revealing mistake: While Link is sword laser zapping the first two Tin Suits, one shot shows a house behind Link. The door on that house looks like it was rushed when it was drawn or the whole house was. There is a window that looks normal enough, but maybe slightly on the large side. But right below the window, there is a door that is way too small. It looks ridiculous and out of place, especially when compared to the window. (00:31:00)

Revealing mistake: There is a hole left in the barn after the Octorok throws Link through it. The hole in the boards overlaps onto the support column in one spot, which makes no sense. Especially since the next shot shows the hole nowhere near the support column. (00:32:10)

The White Knight - S1-E3

Revealing mistake: After Link begins walking to the castle, the scene changes to Ganon's lair in Death Mountain. It first shows the exterior of the volcano and you can see smoke coming from the top. The smoke is obviously a looped animation, where the same frames are repeated over and over again to show continuum. This in of itself is not a mistake, as animation loops are fairly common in cartoons, especially during this era. But the jump between the first and last frames of this smoke is so jarring it makes it painfully obvious it is looped and poorly done. (00:35:10)

The White Knight - S1-E3

Revealing mistake: Link runs towards the wheelbarrow to launch himself at the Tin Suits. Before he does, there is a close up shot of two of the Tin Suits marching at him. The one on the left has the eye holes on his helmet poorly drawn and look misshapen compared to the Tin Suit on the right. (00:30:35)

Show generally

Continuity mistake: Right in the beginning of the title sequence, Zelda and Link walk into a room and see the Triforce of Wisdom. Zelda even says it is the Triforce of Wisdom. It is green. But throughout the entire show in the episodes, the Triforce of Wisdom is shown as blue. (00:00:05)

Trivia: In almost every other incarnation of the Legend of Zelda, Link is left handed using his sword in that one, (except the Wii version of Twilight Princes where everything is reversed). But in this TV show, he is right handed.

The White Knight - S1-E3

Question: In this episode, Link is in a town that is attacked by an Octoroc and several large minions that appear to be a red and white knight in armor sort of thing. Link attacks and calls them by their name. It sounds like he is saying Tin Suits. But I am unsure. And there is no option for captions or subtitles on the DVD. Is Tin Suits what he says or is he calling them something else?

Quantom X

Chosen answer: He does in fact call them Tinsuits.
