Continuity mistake: When Joan accuses Agent Whitlock of gathering intel to Rip Off/ambush/rob the gangs, a woman enters the hall behind her. Moments later, The Woman disappears having never walked past Joan or Agent Whitlock. She didn't open any of the doors in the hallway either since she was walking straight down the hallway.
Incel: Who are they?
Sherlock: That's Homeland Security.
Incel: But...you promised you wouldn't tell them about me if I talked to you!
Sherlock: Yes, but you play den mother to a pack of would-be rapists and mass shooters, so you can see how lying to you would be the highlight of my day. Look on the bright side - you don't seem to enjoy the company of women, and that shouldn't be a problem for the next five to ten years.

Trivia: "The Hound of the Cancer Cells" is a loose reference to "The Hound of the Baskervilles", perhaps the most famous of the four Sherlock Holmes novels.

Holmes deduced he was staying at a high-class hotel from the soap scent on the note, and gave a picture from a hidden camera to his "irregulars" on the street to stake out hotels. One of them saw him, so Holmes followed him to his next intended victim and knocked him unconscious with a baton.
