Continuity mistake: As Haddock cleans his teeth, the news on the radio states that Castafiore was arrested so Haddock spits out his gargling water. Some of the water and toothpaste goes over his beard. But when he runs into Tintin's room, his beard is as dry as a bone, with no toothpaste in sight. (00:03:10)

Continuity mistake: When the episode starts, Tintin rides into Marlinspike Hall on his motorbike. From a side angle of the bike after it has driven inside, the brace thing around the bike's wheels is black. After Haddock says "Ahoy, Tintin", the brace thing has become green. (00:01:15)

Continuity mistake: When Haddock first wakes at the monastery, he finds a scarf that is a pale yellow color. Next shot, that same scarf is suddenly a lot darker (still yellow). (00:32:55)

Continuity mistake: Snowy lets go of a note to bite a bone and it falls an inch away from him. But as soon as he takes off running, the note isn't visible next to the bone. (00:31:10)

Continuity mistake: An emperor at the monastery begins floating in the air. From one angle, he is a foot in the air. But from another angle, he is suddenly a meter in the air. (00:29:55)

Continuity mistake: When Tharkey looks down on the monastery, no-one is visible on the balcony. A couple of shots later when the monastery is shown, a group of people have suddenly appeared on the balcony. (00:29:15)

Other mistake: Haddock becomes exhausted and sits down. Tintin points out he'll freeze. Watch the two horizontal strips along the middle of his jacket. They are yellow for a few frames, then they go to blue for a few frames. Then if you look super carefully, you'll see that the two straps vanish from shot for a quick frame. Then they reappear. Other mistake: As Tintin, Haddock and Tharkey set up camp, Tintin gets blown back by the tent. Tintin starts running as he is pulled by the tent and trips once he lets go. You'll notice that there is a huge skid mark from his landing on the ground before he does so. (00:28:30)

Other mistake: When Tintin is running as he is being dragged by the tent, he leaves no footprints in the snow. (00:28:25)

Continuity mistake: After Tintin thanks Tharkey, they proceed with their journey. From a wide angle, footprints are made in the snow as they take each step. But in a close-up of the adventurers, their tracks are now in the shape of a skid mark. (00:28:05)

Continuity mistake: Tintin's hat is yellow when Tharkey comes to the rescue, but grey when they are thanking him. (00:27:30)

Continuity mistake: When Haddock goes to cut the rope, he ends up dropping his Swiss army knife. As it drops, the knife has a small ridge in it for opening with a thumbnail. In the following shot, when it is shown falling, the knife is still facing the same direction, but the ridge is no longer visible. Then in the next shot, the ridge is back again. (00:27:15)

Continuity mistake: After Tintin and Haddock find the scarf, they continue climbing the rocks. Tintin climbs onto a rock which has a clear smooth shaping on the top. Yet from another angle of the rock, the top of the rock is now shaped differently. (00:26:10)

Continuity mistake: When Tharkey points out that they must leave, Haddock walks over a hill where footprints are visible behind him and Tintin. But when Tintin points out there is a scarf on the mountain, the footsteps behind him have vanished. (00:25:00)

Revealing mistake: After the "previously" clip, Tintin, Haddock, Snowy and Tharkey continue their walk. In the second shot, the four walk over a hill. The first footstep on the edge of the hill is incorrectly drawn and looks unrealistic. (00:24:45)

Revealing mistake: The shot after Tintin says "We can't give up now" shows Tintin, Haddock and the Sherpas hiking through a dry hill. Over the first hill is a part of the ground that is black. As the shot continues, an extra part of black ground instantly appears from nowhere, as if the animators forgot to draw the black ground during the first half of shot. (00:11:55)

Other mistake: When Tintin wakes after having his nightmare, he knocks the table over along with the chess board. If you look closely, you'll see he never touches the table. (00:03:25)

Continuity mistake: When Tharkey re-enters the plane where he and Haddock made camp, Haddock asks "Any sign of him?" Tharkey replies and you'll see the sky in the background is grey due to the storm. Shot cuts to a wide angle where night suddenly comes from outside of the window. (00:16:55)

Continuity mistake: Just after Haddock finishes saying "That's not my idea of a vacation," he goes to read his newspaper. On the front page of this newspaper is a headline that reads "Ray Jones." About seven seconds after this happens, the shot returns to Haddock where we can see the headline is now twice as small as it was before. (00:01:55)
Tintin in Tibet: Part 1 - S2-E6
Continuity mistake: When Tintin goes to leave the breakfast table to go find Chang, a piece of paper with writing is visible in front of it. When Haddock says, "Where you going?" the paper with writing has suddenly been replaced with a cup. (00:05:20)
Chosen answer: If Hector was seriously intent on removing King Ottokar's scepter from the glass cage holding it and launching it through the window with the camera, then Hector would have been forced to knock out the two guards so they would not have interfered with Hector's plan as soon as he removed the scepter from the glass. As for Hector, himself, was explained when Tintin was explaining how Hector stole the scepter. Tintin placed a twig inside the camera and it launched out of the camera. Hector would have placed the scepter inside of the camera, and would have been knocked unconscious due to the spring effect created when the scepter had been launched.
Casual Person
