Second Chances - S8-E11

Continuity mistake: While Danny and Baez are questioning Damian about Mason's whereabouts, Damian's right handcuff switches to the opposite way depending on the angle of the shots. Either the single metal bar faces up or the double bar faces up, which is quite impossible to change when it's locked around his wrist.

Legacy - S8-E15

Factual error: It's said the illegal immigrant from Venezuela has a new born child. Yet they're still talking of deporting him. Impossible as that child was born here, she/he is an automatic citizen and can represent the whole family in getting citizenship as the law dictates.

Suggested correction: No, it's not impossible. It's a lot more complex and there's no guarantee for immediate citizenship for the parents. There's not even a guarantee a child will be given residency in the US until he or she is old enough to live on his or her own. However, I missed the part in the episode that said anything about the child being born in America, they just said he had a "newborn."

Risk Management - S8-E19

Other mistake: Jamie races to the patrol car after witnessing a car jacking with possible child inside. He flings the door open, gets halfway inside, and the car starts without him even being close to turning the key in the ignition. (00:04:00)

Your Six - S8-E20

Audio problem: While at the range, Jamie takes Frank's revolver to the line and fires it. The last 2 shots you can hear the casings hitting the ground, but not on the first 3 shots. The last 2 shots are from another camera angle. Revolvers don't eject the casings, so we shouldn't hear them landing.

Frank Reagan: I'm the PC. I know everything.

Show generally

Question: Why why does Danny always yell, "hey!" When he's is a half a block from the perpetrators which gives the perpetrators 1/2 block head start running from Danny. Why doesn't he wait until he's close to him and he wouldn't have to chase him so far?

Answer: It's a common cop show plot device. If the police on the show always acted in the most logical way (i.e. not alerting a suspect to their presence) the show wouldn't have the opportunity for an exciting foot chase.
