Corrected entry: It is mentioned many times that if Ned has 1 minute before he has to undo his bringing something back to life. If he does not there will be a random act in close proximity to replace the death. One example is Chuck's father dying when Ned let his mother live. The problem is when he brings the fruit used in his pies back and leaves them that way, nothing is shown to die. Since this a big part of the plot line I would think they would show what it was.
Pushing Daisies (2007)

Starring: Chi McBride, Jim Dale, Anna Friel, Lee Pace
Continuity mistake: During the scene where Ned and Chuck are making a pie, Ned picks up the unfinished pie crust off the counter so Chuck can put more flour down. After she sifts the large pile of flour on to the counter, Ned moves to put the crust back down and now it is easily twice the size it was when he picked it up. There is no way for him to have rolled the crust larger off camera because Chuck was in the way and that was the whole reason he picked the crust up.

Correction: This is addressed in episode 3 (of season 1). The first scene of the pie-hole shows Ned bringing peaches back to life and tossing them to Chuck. The camera pans to a flower box by the windows and you see several yellow flowers whither and die.
