Slave Island - S1-E7
Stupidity: At the beginning of the episode, Pyro is among the Genoshan prisoners, and he is wearing his flamethrower device. While his inhibitor collar will suppress his mutant power of pyrokinesis, he can still use the flamethrower itself as a weapon. This would be akin to a prison allowing an inmate to walk around with a loaded gun. (00:02:12)
Slave Island - S1-E7
Stupidity: The mutants that are held prisoner and forced to build the dam on Genosha are allowed to keep their costumes on. The prisoners are captured so that their powers can be used to build the dam faster, but there's no reason why they wouldn't all be given prison uniforms. Characters like Gambit and Jubilee are wearing jackets, and Jubilee uses it to her advantage by pocketing a piece of twine to pick the lock to her cell later on.
The Unstoppable Juggernaut - S1-E8
Stupidity: When the X-Men are battling Juggernaut, at one point Storm uses a powerful wind to pull a building out of its foundation and drops it on top of him, destroying the building in the process. She had no way of knowing whether anyone was in the building. She could have killed dozens of innocent people for all she knows. (00:16:25)
Stupidity: When Cyclops is arguing with Warren Worthington (Mystique in disguise), Worthington says to Cyclops "Look me in the eye and tell me that," to which Cyclops responds "It'll be my pleasure" and gets ready to shoot Worthington in the face until Professor X orders him to stand down. Cyclops is supposed to be the calm and collected field leader of the X-Men. It's pretty out of character for him to try and murder somebody, or even strike a blow, over a philosophical disagreement. Answer: Chris Potter, the original Gambit voice actor, did indeed quit the role in the 4th season. His last episode was The Phalanx Covenant Part 1 so it seems reasonable that Fox would limit the use of the character even though it was recast. It doesn't appear that Potter left the role due to animosity, he stated in an interview that he wished to play Gambit in the first live action X-Men film.
