Continuity mistake: While being chased, Steve leaps forward on all fours with his legs spread open, but in the next shot he’s suddenly jumping upward with his legs close together.
Continuity mistake: When the crocodile approaches Susan, the scene is set at dusk. However, when she falls into the water, it suddenly shifts to broad daylight. Then the light keeps switching randomly throughout the rest of the scene.
Continuity mistake: When Steve plays the guitar, his forearm stays still in the close-ups of his upper body, but in the hand close-ups, it's moving wildly.
Continuity mistake: When Steve finishes playing the guitar, the position of his hand shifts between cuts. Also, his shirt cuff is hidden at first but suddenly becomes visible.
Continuity mistake: Susan grabs the guitar neck with both hands, but in the next shot, she's holding it with her left.
Continuity mistake: As Doctor Abbott sits in a chair before Steve breaks through the window, Abbott's hand is by his head. The scene cuts; now he has an open book in his lap. Another scene cut, and the book is gone.
Continuity mistake: After Steve rescues Susan from the quicksand, her white pants are wet and covered with dark mud, except a few consecutive scenes later when her pants are spotlessly clean.
