Continuity mistake: When Alex and Alison get out of the limousine at the premiere, Alison drops her purse and Alex bends down to pick it up, splitting his trousers. The purse is in his right hand, the angle changes and the purse is now in his left hand, then another angle change and it's back in his right.

Continuity mistake: When Roland plays his tape recorder on the coach, the woman on the tape says "lightest lemon sponge I've ever tasted - she used to bake, yes I remember, mind you she worked hard that woman..." But in the cafe Roland didn't start recording until she said "mind you she worked hard..."

Trivia: The main entrance and car park of Grange Hill school used from series eight until series eleven are the same ones that are currently used for the BBC1 series Holby City, they are on site at the BBC Elstree Centre.
