Corrected entry: Colleen's doctor tells the district attorney that her sickness doesn't follow the guidelines of normal schizophrenia in that the normal medicines don't help. This gives Allison and DeValas an opening to investigate what is causing her to be ill. Why would she give them such important information when she is in on the ruse?

Plot hole: Joe says that he and Allison told people they conceived Ariel on the weekend of their wedding, even though they knew that Allison was about five weeks pregnant at that time. In episode 6.15 the plot is all about how Allison is expecting Ariel and there is a lot of talk of how she is their first child and they can't tell anyone about it because they aren't married yet. But in the season two episode "Sweet Child O' Mine" it was revealed that they were going to have a baby once before Ariel, a boy they were going to name Brian, but that Allison miscarried.
Suggested correction: What exactly is the point. She was pregnant and miscarried. So? That's not a mistake.
In the season 2 episode, Brian is 15 while Ariel is 12, a 3-year difference. Joe and Allison did not know each other 3 years before their wedding. The timeline does not make sense.
Allison Dubois: It's 9:00. How am I supposed to know you're OK? How do I know you're not lying dead somewhere?
Joe Dubois: If something had happened, somebody would've called. If I were dead, who are we kidding, you'd be the first to know.
Trivia: In "Four dreams" the alternative Allison who doesn't have children looks at some kids in a restaurant and gets a dreamy look on her face. The mother of the children she is admiring addresses her daughter as "Sofia". The "real" Allison's daughter Ariel is played by actress Sofia Vassilieva.
Correction: The family would probably have found out that the schizophrenia didn't follow the normal guidelines, as they would have tried to find information about the disease when Colleen got ill. Even if they didn't they would have registered that none of the medicine helped. As Devalos is a friend of the family and they might have told him, the doctor probably found that it was best just to tell him herself, so it wouldn't seem like she was hiding something.
