Other mistake: In the scene with Sawyer and Michael drifting on the pontoon, where Michael is crying, you briefly see a boat with a mast in the background in one shot over Sawyer's right shoulder as he faces the screen, just before he says "Are you all right Mike?". (00:38:10)
Other mistake: In this episode Jack works on an old crippled man to try and perform another "miracle." Remember, this is supposed to be in Jack's past. When he's looking at the x-rays in the beginning, take a look at the dates on them. They're November 16, 2005. In the last episode of season 2, Desmond says that the plane crashed in September 2004.
Other mistake: When the doctor stops Sun on the streets to tell her that Jin is the one who can not have children, at one point the subtitles say "You're husband." The correct spelling would be "Your".
Answer: He was eating a peice of an orange with the skin still on.
