Continuity mistake: At the start when Carrie walks into the kitchen she opens the door with her right hand. However from the kitchen angle she is opening the door with her left hand and her right is down by her side. (00:03:10)
Character mistake: The woman in the store claims that the umlaut on the shoe size indicates a half size in Europe. This is wrong because the European shoe size system (used in Germany among others) is completely different from the US system. Carrie's 6 1/2 shoes would be a size 39 according to the European system.
Visible crew/equipment: In the scene where Doug has been bubble wrapped and dumped out in front of IPS, Deacon leans over talking to him and you can see a boom mike shadow over Deacon's shadow in the background.
Continuity mistake: Right at the start, the salad cutlery keeps crossing and uncrossing itself. (00:01:05)

Visible crew/equipment: When Denise is running away and Doug is on the floor, a camera shadow is very clear on Denise's car. (00:21:30)
Visible crew/equipment: When Carrie hugs Doug and wishes him good luck, you can see the battery pack for her mic in her jeans. Clear as day. (00:17:35)
Continuity mistake: While at Doug's high school reunion, he and Carrie are dancing. Carrie has her purse on her shoulder. When they go for a beverage, the purse is gone. She was able to put her bun back without having a purse swinging in her face.
Revealing mistake: When Doug runs into the phone when trying to deliver Carrie's package, it's very clear he doesn't touch the phone with his head.
Continuity mistake: In this episode, Doug looks out his bedroom window and sees his parents and Arthur standing on the porch by the front door, but in season one, the episode when Richie sleeps with their neighbor, Carrie and Doug's bedroom window faces the Sacksi bedroom window.
Suggested correction: The window in this episode is the one looking out the front (same wall as headboard), but the one referenced in the episode with Richie is the side window, so a different view.
Continuity mistake: When Stephanie arrives and Doug says about killing his parents, Stephanie has her hands apart, but when the camera angle changes to a different view, her hands are clasped together. (00:14:40)
Revealing mistake: When we see the montage of Doug working as a manager, in one overhead shot you can see the image on the PC is simply stuck on to make it seem like it's on. (00:08:50)
Visible crew/equipment: While Doug and Carrie are in the kitchen talking about Doug's job, right after Carrie says, "Wait him out 5 or 10 years," in the next shot facing the sink, we can see the end of the kitchen set at the right side of the screen. (00:14:00)
Continuity mistake: In the first shot inside Arthur's house, Carrie and Doug are standing together when Carrie mentions how tough it must be for Arthur. It then cuts to Arthur sitting at the table, with Doug right there sitting beside Arthur. Next shot Doug is still standing with Carrie as she urges Doug to spend some time with Arthur, so this is when Doug walks over to his father-in-law. (00:07:00)
Strike One - S3-E5
Visible crew/equipment: After Carrie discovers she can't take a shower because Doug ripped out the shower tiles, when she walks out of the bathroom keep your eye on the window at the right. Just as Doug lifts the hammer a crew member is visible in the bathroom's window (it's not Doug's reflection). (00:17:15)
