Factual error: When the woman is giving birth and Dr. Quinn has to perform a c-section, she gives the baby to Mrs. Cooper, and after about a minute, she gives the baby to the mother. Dr. Quinn then leans towards Mrs. Cooper and they smile happily; she doesn't attempt to continue the "surgery". Even nowadays doctors need several minutes to close up again after a c-section, so there is no way that Dr. Quinn was anywhere near finished. Leaving the patient cut open on the bed is pretty irresponsible, something she would never do as she has to prove that she is a good M.D. (00:30:00)

Visible crew/equipment: The morning after Dr. Mike and Sully spend the night with the Cheyenne, when Wolf finds a ripped piece of Brian's shirt Sully tells the wolf to find him, and three shots later just as the camera pans toward the right, in this wideshot a crew member (presumably the animal trainer) who is standing on the hill ducks behind the bushes, near the top center of the screen. Other mistake: When Emily is in crisis labor Dr. Mike sedates her and does a C section delivery. But Emily periodically regains consciousness during and after. Never once reacting to any pain from the cutting, which seems unlikely.
Answer: A Cooper was someone who made various things out of wood including wooden caskets and even barrels.
