Factual error: How exactly does Seth unlock the door? The entire purpose of locking the storeroom is to keep mall customers out so they won't steal things, not to keep people in there, so there is no way it was only lockable from the outside. If it was a key operated lock, why would someone just leave their key in the keyhole for someone to take? There is no explanation for Seth being able to unlock the door.

The Rescue - S1-E8
Trivia: Seth is surprised that Summer has read the book "Madame Bovary". She explains that it's the favorite book of patient Tom Shales, who is incontinent (lacking normal voluntary control of excretory functions). Tom Shales is a Washington Post critic who blasted "The O.C." in his review.
Question: When Ryan goes to Marissa and Alex's apartment (after Alex told him to stay away from Marissa), he says, "If you have to work this hard, it isn't working." What does he mean?

Answer: He means that if Alex has to go so far as to forbid Ryan from seeing Marissa in order to maintain her relationship with her, their relationship obviously isn't working.
