Deliberate mistake: In the scene with Brian and Beverly going up the stairs, Brian is in the chairlift, and you can see in front of the wig that Peter Kay wears where the red patch is where he has shaved his real hair.
Brian Potter: Don't talk to me about upper body strength, Lesley! My forearms are massive.
Les: An' we all know why that is don't we? Too much "Trumpet Polishin'"
Trivia: If you watch throughout the entire series when Brian Potter calls people on their mobile phone. The display name is IRONSIDE. This is actually a reference to an American detective who was in a wheelchair, played by Raymond Burr.
Question: What happened to Marrion from the first series? She wasn't seen or mentioned in series two.
Answer: She's not in it. There is a woman called Joyce, who could be seen as a replacement, but she has a much smaller part. I haven't heard why this happened.
