Continuity mistake: In the beginning, Gus' dad steps aside to reveal Gus behind him. Then, he says, "Well, my duty here is done. Mrs. Grotke, boys and girls," and then salutes them and walks away. He has moved back behind Gus. He had no time to move to that position.
Plot hole: Near the end, at the assembly, the old lady sitting on stage can't even lift the turkey. But about 90 seconds later, she's running away from the can pyramid. What a miraculous recovery.
Continuity mistake: After Mrs. Finster has her show of strength and is pulling Gus away, he still has the chains from the wheel on his arm. When the shot changes, the chains are gone.

Other mistake: When TJ says that he and the rest of the gang met at old rusty, it shows you a flashback and the kindergartners are wild, but they only became wild when Gus arrives later (as said in All Growed Down).
Suggested correction: It's not true. After Gus "changed" the kindergartners he was sent away from school.
This correction misses the point of the mistake. In "Recess: All Growed Down," when Gus moves to the school, the kindergartners are shown as "normal," but then Gus changes them to be wild, and they start to have torn clothes and paint on them. However, in the flashback scene in this episode, it shows the gang meeting on the first day (excluding Gus), and they have torn clothes and paint on them. This doesn't make sense because they only became that way when Gus moved to the school.
Revealing mistake: Right after TJ and friends are looking at the "thermometers" of cans, the Ashleys have at least 4 crates of cans that they bring in on forklifts. However, the end result is 4,362 cans for the Ashleys. This may seem kind of picky, but I think there was more cans than 4,362.
Suggested correction: This is literally just an assumption, and nothing else. 4,362 is a pretty huge number, and with the amount of cans that we see the Ashleys collect in the episode, combined with the amount of cans that they and the rest of Miss Furley's class collected off-screen, it is perfectly believable that Miss Furley's class would end up collecting that amount of cans.
Continuity mistake: On the day of the PTA Spring Fling, Principal Prickly wonders where Mikey is, and when Miss Finster says, "We've looked everywhere, sir," she wears her watch on her left wrist and her bracelet on her right wrist. In the next shot, the bracelet on her right wrist has been replaced with her watch. In the following shot, the watch has vanished from her wrist.
Continuity mistake: When Antonio proposes to Miss Salamone, he puts the ring on her middle finger, but in the next shot, it is on her index finger.
Other mistake: When Spinelli's real parents arrive at Parents' Night, the shot is flipped: the potted plant and poster are on the opposite sides, the letter on the poster is mirrored, the door opens the opposite way, and Spinelli's parents are running in the wrong direction. (00:08:26)
Continuity mistake: The gang goes to Spinelli's house to ask her about her parents. After Gretchen asks why her parents don't ever come to Parents' Night, Spinelli tries to close the door, then T.J. puts his hand on the door and says, "Come on, Spinelli, we're your friends." In the next shot, his hand is suddenly not on the door anymore. (00:04:46)
Other mistake: When Spinelli's real parents arrive at Parents' Night, as Spinelli's mother tells Miss Grotke, "She just stopped wetting the bed this year," her necklace vanishes, then reappears mid-shot. (00:09:23)
Continuity mistake: At Parents' Night at the school, the doorknob is on the left side of the door to Miss Grotke's classroom. Then, when Spinelli and her "parents" go out of the classroom, the doorknob is on the opposite side, then goes back to the left side in the next shot. (00:07:34)
Other mistake: At Parents' Night at the school, when Gretchen's parents walk into Miss Grotke's classroom, Gretchen's father clips through the door. (00:05:46)
Continuity mistake: At lunch, when the kid tells the gang that Spinelli's parents will be the first parents on the space shuttle, Gretchen's sandwich is in front of her on the table. In the next shot, it changes orientation. (00:02:47)
Other mistake: At lunch, when the kid tells the gang that Spinelli's parents will be the first parents on the space shuttle, Gus's right elbow vanishes, then reappears mid-shot. (00:02:42)
Continuity mistake: When the gang is first shown talking about Spinelli's parents at the lunch table, T.J. is holding his sandwich in his right hand, but in the next shot, it's in his left hand. (00:02:26)
Continuity mistake: When the gang is playing marbles, there are seven marbles in the ring, with three black ones on the left and four orange ones on the right. In the next shot, there is suddenly a green marble on the right side of the ring, with a black marble next to it.
Continuity mistake: When Dr. Quilty is filming Gretchen in front of the Kindergarten Area, Gretchen puts some candy in front of the door. When Gretchen runs away, the candy has vanished.
Continuity mistake: When the kids are fighting over the can at the celebration, the can keeps swapping between green and red between shots. There is also one shot where the can is red but turns green twice in two frames.
Revealing mistake: In the areas where the kids change the tape, when Mikey slides and Spinelli is swinging, they are both holding cameras. Who's filming them?
