Do-It-Yourself Mr. Bean - S1-E13
Continuity mistake: When Mr. Bean brings in his new chair after his "incident", he wheels his old chair over to the wall with a minimal gap to accommodate the new chair. But when he is accidentally dropping things out of the gap in his wall, he goes and looks at the mess he has made and the chair has moved forward considerably without anyone touching it. (00:14:50)
Mind The Baby, Mr. Bean - S1-E14
Other mistake: In the brief shot of the Postman Pat van, when we see all the mothers lined up near it, you can see that the baby is not even in the ride. (00:10:50)
Mind The Baby, Mr. Bean - S1-E14
Continuity mistake: When Mr. Bean is playing the dart game, he cheats by putting a card on a dart and throwing it at the wall. When he throws it, the card sticks to the wall on an angle, but when he calls for the guy to look at it, the camera cuts back and now the card is straight and not on an angle. (00:17:10)
Merry Christmas Mr. Bean - S1-E10
Continuity mistake: Mr. Bean puts Christmas cards in envelopes, then seals each envelope by licking each flap. Then he puts the envelopes through the mail slot in his door, pretending that someone else mailed them to him, which is funny. Then he opens each envelope just by unfolding the flap instead of tearing open the envelope, that means that each flap had not been sealed.
Suggested correction: There is only a few moments between Bean licking the envelopes and then posting them to himself. Obviously the glue on the envelopes hasn't dried yet.
If the envelope Mr. Bean had opened were actually the envelope he had licked, then some part of the glue would have stuck, even though there were only a few seconds between licking, mailing and opening, so we would have seen him have a little resistance from the envelope when he opened the envelope. Also, he licked only one envelope, but he mailed three envelopes, so presumably prior to him coming home in the episode, he had licked the other two envelopes. Because he licked one envelope, it is reasonable he would have licked the other two envelopes earlier.
The Return Of Mr. Bean - S1-E2
Revealing mistake: When we see the close-up shot of Mr. Bean's new American Express card the first time, the name on the front is Mary.
The Trouble With Mr. Bean - S1-E8
Continuity mistake: When Bean is putting his shoes on, out the window the scenery is going straight but in the overhead shot he is on a roundabout.
Merry Christmas Mr. Bean - S1-E10
Continuity mistake: During the Nativity scene, the Baby Jesus ends up facing to the right (primarily after Mary "jumps in shock" at the dinosaur when the manger gets knocked). When the helicopter comes in to pick the Baby Jesus up, he has been rotated to face the camera again.
Deliberate mistake: The anchovies in Mr. Bean's jar were already dead before he took them out and then killed them. (00:15:30 - 00:16:00)
The Return Of Mr. Bean - S1-E2
Visible crew/equipment: Just as Mr. Bean sits at the new table and the manager places the napkin on his lap, a large camera shadow is projected onto the table. Later, when the waiter brings him the food, the camera's shadow is also projected onto him. Finally, when the same manager opens the silver tray, part of the camera is visible in the upper right corner of the frame. (00:17:11)
Visible crew/equipment: When Mr. Bean opens the door to go to lunch at the hotel, a light panel from the filming crew briefly reflects in the window of the door as it's moving. (00:15:18)
Revealing mistake: When Mr. Bean tries to delay his hotel neighbour in the elevator, the first time he does it, it's clear that he doesn't press the button itself, but the area next to it. (00:03:12)
The Return Of Mr. Bean - S1-E2
Visible crew/equipment: When Mr. Bean has his hand stuck in the other person's pocket and they both enter the bathroom, the camera takes a top-down shot of the toilet, revealing a cable on the left side of the floor that moves just before the zoom as they enter. (00:07:59)
Continuity mistake: When Mr Bean writes down the number 1 on his score card after getting a hole in one, he writes it simply as a vertical straight line, but at the very end of the episode, when he writes down 3,427, the '1' above it that he wrote down earlier now has the serif at the top, completely different to how he originally wrote it.
Continuity mistake: It's clear Mr Bean is hanging from the diving board by one hand by the time the boy decides to stamp on his hand. When the boy does stamp on him, watch the position of Bean's left arm in the next shot – he appears to be holding on with both hands.
Merry Christmas Mr. Bean - S1-E10
Visible crew/equipment: When Irma asks Mr Bean if he has the turkey on, there is a shadow of the overhead mic on the wall.
Back To School Mr. Bean - S1-E15
Continuity mistake: Mr. Bean's car has a missing wheel cover on the left front wheel at the beginning of the episode, but it suddenly appears in the end before it gets destroyed by the tank. (00:04:23 - 00:22:10)
The Trouble With Mr. Bean - S1-E8
Deliberate mistake: When Bean is putting on his socks as he is driving, his foot presses the horn in the centre of the steering wheel. Except that the horn control is actually on the right-hand column stalk (you can see the horn symbol on it). This was most likely an added comical sound effect.
Merry Christmas Mr. Bean - S1-E10
Continuity mistake: Mr Bean parks his mini outside Harrods. While he is parking the car there are no people on the pavement behind the Santa Claus, but as soon as Bean gets out of the car there are several people behind Santa.
Merry Christmas Mr. Bean - S1-E10
Continuity mistake: After Mr. Bean's musical performance, there's a shot of people applauding him. There's a man at the right of the group. In the next scene that same man is seen buying the last two Christmas trees, right before Mr. Bean gets a chance to buy any. There's only five seconds between the scenes. The man couldn't have run to the Christmas tree salesman, talk to him, and pay him for the trees within those five seconds. (00:10:25)
Merry Christmas Mr. Bean - S1-E10
Revealing mistake: When Bean is driving down the street with the TV on his car, the sign for the store on the right is backwards, revealing a flipped shot.
