Continuity mistake: When Mr Bean talks to his teddy bear before leaving his car, he says he'll be back in about an hour, at around 3. This would mean he's leaving the car at 2. But later, he arrives for the start of the pet show, which the blackboard states was due to start at 1.

Continuity mistake: In the scene at the country fair, Mr Bean interrupts a boy doing the buzzer game. When Mr Bean is on his second go at this puzzle and stands up after unplugging the device, you can see the same boy come round a table behind Mr Bean. Cut to the next shot, the boy has disappeared from where he should be behind Mr Bean and can now be seen walking across the back of the hall.

The Curse Of Mr. Bean - S1-E4

Continuity mistake: When Mr Bean is trying to get out of the car park through the entrance, he uses a wheelie-bin to simulate a car to get the gate to open. After he's out and shifted the bin, he's blocked in by another car. We see a hand take the next ticket (presumably belonging to the driver of the incoming car) but the car pulling up in front of Mr Bean is so far away from the ticket machine its not possible for him to take it and drive into the car park in the short amount of time seen, plus we never see or hear anybody get out of the car to get the ticket.

The Trouble With Mr. Bean - S1-E8

Continuity mistake: In the sketch where Mr Bean drives to the dentist, there is a part where he starts to dress himself. If you look out of the window, the scenery keeps changing dramatically. In some shots he is driving along a single lane carriageway with buildings on the sides and in other shots he his driving along a dual carriageway with no buildings on the sides, all while he is getting dressed.

The Trouble With Mr. Bean - S1-E8

Continuity mistake: When Mr. Bean is dressing in his car on the way to the dentist, just after he puts his shirt on the camera cuts to show him from the rear of the car. In this shot he has his dress pants on already, but he hadn't put them on yet and in subsequent shots they are gone again.

Tee Off, Mr. Bean - S1-E17

Continuity mistake: When Mr. Bean goes to get some coffee to switch with the rude man's liquid detergent, when he places the coffee down on the washing machine, you can tell it is a coffee which has milk in it. But when the man tips it into his washing machine, you can easily see it is plain black coffee. (00:10:05)

Mind The Baby, Mr. Bean - S1-E14

Continuity mistake: During the course of the episode, the baby's appearance changes between wide shots and close-ups. It is most noticable when Bean puts the baby into the Postman Pat car. (00:08:05)

Continuity mistake: At the country fair and during the pet show segment, when the boy in the blue T-shirt is putting his dog into position for the obedience test, he can be seen standing behind the dog as we look at it, but on the next camera cut, he's standing in front of the dog.

Continuity mistake: In the scene with Bean watches the calligraphist he places his feather on the right side of the paper, in the closeup it's instantly on the left side and when it cuts back to the far shot it's on the right side again. (00:06:00)

Chosen answer: I'm guessing it is because he bought a new car. At the end of the first Bean, he crashed the mini. You hear the crash and see his wheel bouncing down the road. Safe to assume it was a write-off.

Soylent Purple

Answer: Yeah he had a red Mini at the beginning but it ends up getting crashed at the end of the episode. And then in other episodes he has a green Mini.

Dan23

Answer: So you didn't see the end of the first episode when he crashed the old Mini and the wheel fell off? Plausible that he bought a new one afterwards.

Answer: I think it is because in the last episode his green car got smashed in the ceremony and he bought a red mini until he got a new green mini.
