Continuity mistake: In this episode, and a few others, it's stated that Topanga's mother's name is Rhiannon, yet in earlier episodes Topanaga said that her mother's name was Chloe.
Continuity mistake: When Morgan is telling Topanga that she wouldn't use her bridesmaid's dress to wipe her ass, she gets cut off by Alan who covers her mouth with his left hand and then begins dragging her out of the reception hall. Continuity mistake: When Cory is "The Coconut Guy" he is showing Jay Leno, David Letterman and Arnold Schwarzenegger. When Topanga comes to the shop Cory knocks the Arnold Schwarzenegger coconut down but in the next shot, it is perfectly straight up. (00:12:04)
Continuity mistake: When the spider is walking on Eric, it makes it past his fingers and has some legs on his wrist before the shot changes. In the next shot, the spider is still walking on his fingers. (00:16:17)
Continuity mistake: This episode is during Christmas time and it's Alan's birthday, but it was mentioned in "Honesty Night" that Alan's birthday is June 14th.

The shot goes back to Shawn and Angela, when Cory is shown again, the popcorn is gone. Again the shot changes to Shawn and Angela, then back to Cory and the popcorn reappears.

Continuity mistake: When Topanga joins the group hug, the piece of paper that Eric wrote on is underneath her. When Cory joins in, the paper has disappeared. It then reappears when Mr. Feeny dismisses everyone. (00:20:10 - 00:20:45)

Chosen answer: In the present day, with the United States abiding by more stricter school health laws, for the most part this wouldn't be in school cafeterias as many cannot even have carbonated beverage machines now. However, in the 90s when the show takes place, it wasn't unheard of for there to be coffee machines in the cafeteria of small schools where the teachers eat with the students as we see them do often in the show. The idea being that the cafeteria was small enough so a teacher or hall monitor could catch a student before they could drink the coffee.
