Correction: This does not have to be pointed out as being deliberate. This is trivia at best (and probably too obvious even for that).

Corrected entry: In this episode, they indicate that Officer Barbrady is the only policeman in South Park. But in most other episodes, for example in "Majorine" when Butters is going to jump off the roof, there are many police officers there, not just Barbrady.
Correction: The episode you mentioned "Marjorine" was a more recent episode while the episode with Barbrady being supposedly the only policeman was one of the first episodes of South Park. We can deduce that more officers were hired between the two episodes. Even if there were other episodes when more officers were shown, the reasons could vary from Barbrady needing additional help to more people moving to the town.

Corrected entry: After the chicken lover is caught he claims he did it to help Barbrady learn to read. But Barbrady admitted to himself and the rest of South Park he couldn't read while already investigating the case.
Correction: Exactly - so Barbrady had to force himself to learn how to read in order to solve the case, because it's only after he's learned to read that the Chicken Lover is caught.
Correction: He may have made that up as an excuse after the fact.
Correction: But how did the chicken lover find out that Barbrady couldn't read in the first place? It didn't come out to the town that he couldn't read until the first chicken was discovered.
Correction: According to http://www.southparkstudios.com/fans/findthealien/ aliens are hidden in most episodes. You are supposed to find all of them and then go on the south park website enter their locations. Since they are hidden in most episodes and this was announced it is not really trivia.
