Correction: If you play it in slo-mo, you can see that he DOES hit it, but I'll admit that it doesn't look like it when played at normal speed.

Screwed The Pooch - S3-E13

Corrected entry: When Peter is in the art gallery, he rubs out an eye on a Picasso picture and redraws it with a pencil. The eye he draws is white with a black outline and a blue iris, yet he only uses the one pencil.

Correction: The scene is entirely within Peter's fevered imagination. Anything can happen.

Screwed The Pooch - S3-E13

Corrected entry: Peter and Carter Pewterschmidt, Lois's father, are in a game of Texas hold 'em poker with Michal Eisner, Bill Gates and Ted Turner. After some betting, Carter shows his hand, as does Ted. The problem is that anyone who has ever seen Texas hold 'em knows that they are not playing correctly. Each player has two cards to themselves and five community cards. It might be minor, but why mention a specific game such as hold 'em then not follow the basic rules of the game?

Correction: Texas Hold 'em was the first hand Peter dealt but the hand Carter and Ted are playing is much later in the night, it ends up being the last hand. They may have switched to five card draw to keep things interesting.

Underage Peter - S14-E14

Plot hole: They're in the Clam complaining that they can't drink when they make the revelation that Brian can because he's technically 56. But Quagmire should be able to drink, as in a much earlier episode, he's revealed to be over 60.

Suggested correction: Quagmire considers the rest of them to be his best friends. He isn't drinking because they can't drink. He is complaining because since his friends can't drink - he won't drink, so he is still pissed.

It's still a plot hole considering Quagmire's age. I think the writers messed up big time.

You make a good point, but it's awkward to be that one person who is drinking while surrounded by people who can't. So, I understand the correction that was submitted above. Because his friends are not drinking, he now feels that he can't.

It's 100% a mistake. Quagmire simply would buy them alcohol the same way Brian did when they realized he could.

Grumpy Old Man - S10-E9

Trivia: One of the cutaway gags is about someone who survived 9/11 because he was late for work watching late night football. Seth MacFarlane missed his flight, which would have been one of the flights to crash into the World Trade Center, because his agent had given him the incorrect departure time. The plane was scheduled to depart at 7:45 AM and his agent had told him it was departing at 8:15 AM. By the time Seth arrived the boarding had been closed and he was told he would have to catch a later flight.

Business Guy - S8-E9

Question: In the episode, Peter threatens to fire Lois, and she responds with "you wouldn't" and Peter then replies with "Oh really, does the name Lacey Chabert mean anything to you?" which in turn makes Lois go wide eyed and reply with "OK, I'll behave" and Peter then goes on to add "Yes you will" Can anyone explain this joke if it is a joke to comprehend?

Answer: Lacey Chabert was the actress who originally voiced Meg in early episodes. She left of her own accord due to being in school and other acting work; Seth MacFarlane has stated there was no tension with her leaving, but it makes for a handy joke for the show.
