When she presses the button for the alarm to stop, we can see another time (9:35) - the alarm setting time. The time was 5:00, but the alarm was set for 9:35, so there was no way it was going to buzz at 5:00.

Correction: My alarm has settings for two different times so if one person gets up before the other they flip a switch & the alarm wont go off again until the second time it was set for.
