Other mistake: Sometimes the characters refer to Operation Nightfall as taking place in Bosnia while other times it is referred to as taking place in Kosovo.

5:00 P.M.-6:00 P.M. - S1-E18

Other mistake: When David is talking to his son on the balcony he asks if he (Keith) could live with everything being about him. This is during a split screen where you can see David's head in both shots. In one shot his head moves to the side, but in the other shot that is supposedly at the same time, his head doesn't move. 11:00 P.M.-12:00 Midnight - S1-E24

Other mistake: Mason asks Nina the ETA on the tactical teams, to which she responds "Five on the Alpha, Eight on the Beta." There's a timecheck 3 minutes later, and after the break they still haven't arrived. Team Alpha continues to be more and more late than estimated. Jack begins to break into a van, still no tactical team has arrived. Jack kills Victor Drazen at the 17:47 time check, still no back up. They finally show up at around the 31 minute mark. Day 4: 10:00 P.M.-11:00 P.M. - S4-E16

Character mistake: 23rd minute. Jack meets the female assassin in Anderson's apartment. She demands that he show his credentials. Jack says he's with CTU on a provisional basis and therefore he has no badge. The agent that came with Jack confirms that. Yet, in the 13th episode (minute 14) when he enters the sports shop with Audrey's husband, he shows his CTU badge to the owners in order to prove that he in fact is a federal agent.

Season 1 generally

Question: Was Nina recruited as a spy before she joined CTU or after? Also, as she wasn't working just for the Drazens, what was her primary mission?

Answer: According to Jack in season 5, Nina was "deep cover" before the pair ever met, so it's safe to assume she was recruited before she joined CTU. As for what her primary mission was, who knows? Perhaps it was to gather sensitive intel and pass it on to her superiors. Given that she worked for an intelligence agency, it's not a stretch. Or perhaps we may find out in season seven.
