Trivia: The music during the Carrie montage in Paris was actually written by Mikhail Baryshnikov. It's called 'Carrie's Theme', and is the same music that Aleksandr played to Carrie on his piano in 'The ick factor' episode. The show had the music scored by an orchestra, and used it during these scenes. Michael Patrick King wrote the entire montage, with this music in mind. (00:08:50)
Trivia: This scene, with the girls lunching in the Meat Packing District, is interesting because it was the only time in the history of the entire series where they filmed a scene that wasn't in the script. (00:03:45)
Trivia: When Carrie and Jeremy are having their picnic at the mental institution, a man suddenly runs by yelling, and being chased by two people. The man running is actually Michael Patrick King. The woman chasing him is Grace Naughton, the Associate Producer. And the other man helping is Key, one of the Security Guys from the show. (00:23:10)
Trivia: According to the commentary; when Carrie is looking at her high school yearbook, you can see Cindy Chupack (the writer for this episode) and Sabrina Wright on the yearbook page. Sabrina Wright is the Property Master for the show, and they have used her name for a couple of generic book titles, etc. in Sex and the city. (00:06:45)
Trivia: These basketball game scenes were actually filmed in the real Madison Square Gardens. In order to use the name 'The Knicks' for the show, they had to agree to film at MSG, which is their home. They also used the real Knicks City Dancers. But the Knicks players running around are not the real Knicks. They are actually called 'The Knickolites'. (00:10:50)
Trivia: After Lexi falls out of the window, there is an outdoor snow montage. This was the only time in the entire series, where they just filmed the city without one of the girls in it. All of these montage scenes were from the show itself, they didn't use stock footage. They filmed during an actual snow storm in New York City. (00:23:10)

Trivia: The coffee shop has always been a set, on a sound stage. But in this scene, the girls are leaving the coffee shop to walk out on the street. Sex and the city had to build a real coffee shop exterior, so that the girls could walk out into the real world. (00:42:05)
Trivia: During this scene when Miranda keeps accidentally smearing baby poo on her face, it's actually chocolate icing they are putting on Cynthia Nixon's face. (00:06:45)
